My Kind of Exploring

5 Rating: 5, Useful: 16 / 20

This is not for people who like shooters or blowing things up. You can easily get lost in the jungle for a while if you don't keep track of where you have been. Then there are the 6 doors that all look the same. They have a beautiful butterfly pattern on them, but you have to keep track of which door goes to which room. I really like this kind of exploring. I haven't scene a game like this in years. Once you find your way around, then you have to have found the right inventory items and figure out where you need to use them. Some of these are hilarious. You are in for some surprises. Then you can also explore areas out of sequence which adds to the confusion. There are doors in the middle of nowhere that are dimensional portals. Let alone you keep looking for the same guy, well, at least he kind of looks like the same guy. Actually the Doc is different versions of himself in past lives. These can be funny too. One time he is in a gorilla suit, then he looks like a sailor from a corporate office and then he is locked up in something - but I don't want to give that away. If you like taking your time trying to figure out a whacky world this is the one.

Breaks the mold

This game definitely breaks the mold. It makes fun of a lot of conventions with it's inventory and weird locations. Elevator music in the butterfly lobby. There's even luggage. But then there's these transparent characters who seem to come in pairs and talk to each other and don't seem to know who you are. But who are they??? So strange. This is so out there. I loved this because it is so different! Excellent!

Loved this game

I would like to complain that there are not enough animations in this game and they are too short because I really loved them. They were excellent. I wish someone would make a movie out of this story so I could just watch it. Still, the puzzles were really weird and I liked that (I really tried not to look in the solution guide unless I was really stuck). So I am glad they were there all the same. Please, can I have some more.

This is an addicting game. I found it very hard to stop. I could compare it to some older games but I think this is different enough to stand on it's own. The video scenes with the condor and the butterflies and the bee are some of the best I've seen. Great graphics. This is also a truly magical game with a really original story. I recommend Get It! 5 out of 5 any time any where.

What a relief

This game was wonderful right out of the box. We had no problems and it is great for the family - no guns or violence for a change - thank goodness. We really had a lot of fun. It was great.

My kind of game

If you like wandering around in strange worlds where you never know what you are going to run into, then this is a great one. You go from a jungle to a hotel lobby to a place that looks like it could be on the moon. There are magical doors you can go in and out of that transport you into these other dimensions. I absolutely loved it! As you move around there are things you have to do and weird inventory items to find - of course. It's an Adventure Game! But this one is also a bit nutty and has some gags built in too. This is my kind of game. I really enjoyed it.

More than pleasantly surprised

I was amazed at how few problems I had after seeing reports in other forums about this game. But it loaded and ran so smoothly I was waiting for something to go wrong. But it didn't. I really thought it was more than OK especially when my expectations were not that high. I ended up really liking it and showing my favorite parts to my nephews who loved it too. They now play it over and over and really enjoy it.

I saw the good things people were saying especially because there was negative stuff too. That made it interesting. Im glad I did - unexpected fun. Great game.

Knocked me out

The visuals are amazing. I have never seen stuff like this. This is my kind of game. At first I wondered what the heck I got into, but it just kept getting more and more unusual especially if you start messing around back stage and get into some of the other worlds instead of going where your supposed to. I like trying to figure out strange places. Even when they give you answers, your not sure what they mean. I hate it when you have to read pages and pages of explaining instead of just going into the game. This would make a great animated movie too.
