This game is great. I'm so sick of reading reviews lately that whine about great games.

Perfect example: "Waaah! This game was made for the console and they ripped us off by just switching it to PC! Now I have to press two extra buttons! Waah! Any idiot wouldn't play this!"

Well, guess what, if you can't handle one or two little conversions, or if you just hate consoles in general because you're a die-hard PC gamer, then don't buy any games with multiple platforms.

With that said, this game is similar to the other in the "Hitman" series, and I love the 3rd person perspective gaming that has seemed to fall off in recent years. Eidos has done a great job of keeping us happy with games that are not first-person shooters, e.g. Hitman, Tomb Raider, etc...

Personally I'm tired of FPS games and this is a GREAT strategy/stealth based game. By the makers of that old game we all loved, "Commandos", you have to use skill and patience to carry out your missions effectively. It is not half as buggy or poorly converted as the "spotlight review" claims.

I would definitely recommend this game if you liked any of the other Hitman games. I would play this over Elder Scrolls or WoW any day.

Right on the money!

I have been an avid follower of the Hitman series since its original release, but never have I gotten into a game like Hitman: Blood Money. The head of The Franchise takes us back in time as he tells a young reporter the story of tracking down, and eventually killing Agent 47. He tells you this from the start. In between stories, we go back to certain dates in the recent past to play several missions. The missions are challenging but exciting, with numerous options for taking out your target. The artificial intelligent is exactly that - intelligent! New "hiding" options makes changing costumes much more easy, and upgrading weapons makes my favorite, the custom Silverballers, practically unstoppable.
Often times Hitmen of the past would slow down my computer, but this one barely affected it. And it still looked amazing!

I have never played any of the other "Hitman" games, mainly because all I ever heard was that they were hard and clunky. I picked "Blood Money" up at risk and was very happy. First off, the graphics are top notch. Clean and smooth. The sound was awesome. You will notice that the music changes with gameplay, giving it an effect of panic at times. The soundtrack seperates this game from others. The storyline was told better than most movies. You will probably get frusterated because if you screw up even once during a mission, odds are your going to want to restart from the beginning. But there is nothing more satisfying than completing a hit undetected. Now I did beat the game fairly quickly. But out of all the games I own and have beaten, I find myself coming back to "Blood Money" the most. Replaying the missions, trying to find a better way to complete a job. Just waiting for "Hitman 5" because they did a great job with BM.

Great game but technical problems

I absolutely LOVE this game. It played fine up 'til around level 5 or 6, then started crashing. Tech support told me to update my video card drivers, which I did. I could then play that next level, but upon completion, it crashed again. Re-installing and *NOT* applying the 1.2v patch allows me to play just fine. This kinda stuff really bothers me for those of us that are actually buying the games.

Gameplay is awesome, I hope they release a new one. Just yesterday I played for 8 hours! Wasted the whole day, but I had fun. I'd recommend this title for the PC.

A very good game for the $$,, good graphics/controls/action . Worth the ten bucks i spent and then some. get the patches though or else it might be buggy.

walkthrough a must

Blood money like all other hitman games needs a walkthrough to be played as a stealth game.To me that is like reading a recepie to bake a cake.I just go in guns blazing and kill everyone and compleate the missions.True this is not as easy as it sounds because of limited amo and hoards of enemies comming after you.To me the fun part of the game is figuring out how to acomplish this.To play the game the way it is ment to be played is to me just plaine boering.I have nothing against stealth games but with a few exceptions they must be played by the numbers and I don't like arithmatic.

Boring, Routine, Redundant, Pathetic

I have no clue how anyone with reasonable intelligence could give this game 4 stars, let alone 3.

First of all, if you have played the other Hitman titles, this will be NOTHING NEW!!!

***GRAPHICS -
Beautifully done. That is all the good I can say about this game.

***GAME PLAY -
BARELY PLAYABLE!! Totally stinks. This game was converted over (PORTED) from a console like the PS2. For the uninformed, this means the developers wanted to go cheap by taking a game DESIGNED for the PS2, save a buck and make crude changes to the code to make in playable on a PC. PLAYABLE is the operative word. This game is BARELY PLAYABLE! Tons of bugs! Cut scenes that don't work or run all the time. Suspicion/Tension levels that won't drop off no matter how good you did the job or how far away you are from the scene. Guys that won't die when shot. Guards that just 'appear' from thin air. The list goes on.

***POINTLESS GAME OPTIONS -
You get a small choice of weapons but basically, every mission will only require your silenced "baller" pistol. If you use the other heavy weapons, you can get the job done...but the damage will be so great that you will lose money paying for damages and to quiet witnesses. I did the entire game using only syringe and the garrote.

*** BUGS -
There are numerous bugs with this port. The worst is the repeat of civilians. HORRIBLE!! You can be in a dining room and see 4 or 5 of the same person. A bald, grey haired guy with a sweater on. A short black haired haired woman in a green dress. The worst was the Mardi Gras crowd! You will literally see 20 of the same character all around you. PATHETIC! Eidos and anyone other decision maker behind Hitman: Blood Money should be strangled and sliced into disposable chunks for making such a crappy game for the PC.

This game could have been more. The developers could have offered more varied mission with different styles needed to get the job done. Instead, it is basically the same thing every single time! Sneak in disguised, get the victim alone, execute and hide the body. Escape before you get caught. Ho Hum, Ho Hum!!!! Pardon me while I fall asleep at the keyboard.

DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I love this game it first person shooter, like previous Hitmen. The only problem I had was my computer- not good enough grafic card. But game v. involving. Strongly recommended.

Impossible requirements for the game meant that it wouldn't run on my machine. Had to return it.

shoddy attempt to 'port' xbox game to PC

Do not waste 50 buying this load of ****!!

The installation went seamlessly. Every high-spec game I have runs smoothly on FULL graphics settings, but not Hitman: Blood Money. The game set me back 50 which I plan to get refunded btw.

I noticed something was wrong when the main menu loaded for the first time. It was as laggy as hell, like trying to play half-life online with a 28k modem. The gameplay was just as slow. Some other games I have like Doom 3, Quake 4, Oblivion, Battlefield 2 (do NOT buy), Bloodrayne 2, Condemned: Criminal Origins etc run fine on Max graphics.

It seems that eidos produced the game quickly for the xbox 360 and then made a shoddy, buggy and incompatible pc 'port' to increase their revenue. Some people don't have a problem, but most people I know have had serious running issues with the game and there is NO patch or upgrade to fix this ridiculous unprofessional product, nor any official help regarding the inadequacies of eidos programming.

My advice: spend your money wisely and don't buy shoddy products from any game developer. Stick to good well-rounded names like: ID, Atari. Avoid at all cost for PC: Eidos, EA Games, Ritual, Valve, 'Steam' & 'Steampowered' products.

best
