This is a Great game What is really cool abut it is if you beat the story mode more than once you will get more levels.

Don't be fooled by this game's cover within the somewhat "kiddie" storyline, C.R. can easily be picked up.Cons won't have long to adjust to fun filled tracks scattered with magic stones which enable you to use an ability of some sort to get ahead.some may seem a bit complex like Vulcan O Valley which is littered with hazards and lava.(scorched racer anyone?)But then the characthers each has his/her unique technique and personality.With a selection of 8, choose a characther and technique then head to either a one-on-one with the computer or a pal, race against the other 7 in Grand Prix, read a book with racing inside in the Story mode or go against the computer/friend on relay race.In my opinion its one of those really fun, ingenius games ever to grace the psx.You might not think so, but give it a whirl.Then you'll see how cool it can get.

This game is by fare the best game I have ever experienced! Although a little older like Final Fantasy 7, it is still really really sweet.

Its a fantasy racing game where you area chocobo! At first I was reluctant to buy it, thinking it was a little kids game, but am I glad I did!

By faaar it beats my other games I own in gameplay, story, and it makes me want to play it nonstop! I could barely put it down to write this review. I couldnt get that with any other of my games I own including valian, valkyrie, final fantasy 7, final fantasy 12, final fantasy tactics, san andreas, and scarface!

this is a okay game, by far better that CTR, but the character are all the same. Theyhave nothing to differenciate them. THey all steer the same and have the speed, but they have different abilities. There are tons of different square character's which are all pretty cool. Its a good game, considering it is a simple kart game.

This game is one of the best racing games that there is the graphics are awesome, and the levels are easy to beat. This is a great game.

Chocobo Racing is a fun racing game for people who like CTR. I have both CTR and CR and I like them both the same. You can even customize one of the characters after you beat Story Mode. I especially like the Magic Stones idea. If you like go kart games like I do, you should consider buying, or renting, this game.

A great game.The graphics aren't the best,but the music makes up for that. The chartors are cute. The White Mage's outfit is sort of a rip of from FF4 and the Black Mage looks(or reminds me of)like a very cubby Vivi(from FF9(the best RPG EVER!) But the game is gret and all that.

Unimaginative, and not even good in comparison to other "kart" games.

The game is highly focused on picking up magic crystals on the track and using them against opponents -- for example, getting three "fire" crystals hits *all* opponents with an unavoidable fire attack.

And, frankly, what fun is that? You race well enough to take the lead, only to get hit with a cheap shot? There's certainly no place for such anti-rewards in a game aimed at anyone over the age of five, and those younger won't be able to handle the twisty tracks anyways.

Breeding and raising Chocobos in "Final Fantasy VII" was fun. Racing them around in mario-karts most certainly is not.

My 10 & 9 year old daughters just love it. They have played CTR & seem to love this one just as much. Same idea but different characters & powers. Great second choice for those who like CTR but can't afford it right away!
