Crash's coolest outing

5 Rating: 5, Useful: 2 / 3

Graphics: 8/10 – Very nice to look at. Everything is clear and there are little things you notice that stand out thoroughly. Crash Bash succeeds in this area.

Sound: 9/10 – Some great sound! Smashing boxes, bucking polar-bears, spinning characters and heaps of effort in sound effects editing.

Value: 8/10 – This is an awesome instalment no doubt and it is fun to play by yourself. But it is better with a friend that lives close by or sibling because Crash Bash really work better as a 2-player game. If you don’t have anyone who is interested, it may tire.

Overall: 10/10 – This is a fantastic, brilliant, amazing and intriguing game! It gives you a lot to do and is thoroughly entertaining for any players of any age. It may just grab a place in my top 5 games!

Its a BLAST!!!

When I bought this game it was spectacular. When I first played it, I wanted to do it again....again,.....and again. My Sister even said it was fun. I finished the whole game, but it took me around three months to complete the adventure mode. The characters are: Crash, Coco, Tiny, Dingodile, N. Cortex, Rataroo, Carl, and Dorio. My favorite character is Dingodile because he can throw boxes with his hands, wack enemies with his tail, and wack boxes with his tail. He also can jump very high to avoid enemies and jump over holes. My Sister's favorite is Coco because she is the only girl character in the game. We have unlocked every single level such as Crash Bash, Polar Push, Pogo Pandium, Ballistix, Tankwars, Crash Dash, and Medevil Meyham. If you purchase this game you will play it almost every hour. This is a great game. Thanks Naughty Dog.

Initially fun, but ultimately a total let-down.

The title sequence (involving the good/evil twins) gets this game off to a fine start, and the various sub-games, especially the pogo-stick jumping and the crate-throwing, are initially great fun. But it isn't long before things start becoming repetative. The same games (with the odd tweak) turn up in every level, and some of them become very irritating after a while. There are a few new games in later levels, but the likes of the sub-game in which you move a painfully slow tank around a tiny maze in an attempt to avoid mutliple missiles and mines should have been left out. There are some inspired boss sequences, but on the whole you can't help feeling this game is little more than a cash-in on Ninetendo's 'Mario Party'. Crash and friends/enemies lack the character they had in previous games. As a multi-player game this is fun, but it's a severe disappointment, especially after the first three Crash games (the best platformers for years) and Crash Team Racing (a first-rate racing game).

Crash Bash 'Fails' without Naughty Dog

From the first loading of Crash Bash, it becomes very obvious that this version was not written by Naughty Dog. In short, Crash Bash is dismal. The graphics are less than the quality of the first Crash Bandicoot, the music is a watered down version of previous games excellent scores, and the games are completely unimaginative. Even smaller details like the control of the characters is very poor. One series of games is similar to the original ping-pong games that came out on Atari in the 1970's. You will clearly see through the thin vail of this version's attempts to duplicate aspects of previous games, and come to the conclusion that Sony has utterly 'failed' (just like the repeated 'you fail' instead of 'game over' that appears on Crash Bash). Sony should pay the price, and get Naughty Dog back ASAP.

the best crash yet

i got this game for christmas and it's my favorite game i ever had.I think crash bash is way better then mario party for N64. If you've never played a crash game before this is the one to play.the lvl are easy at first ,but once you get further it starts to get hard and even funner. The characters are, crash, coco, dingodile, tiny, cortex,dr.n biro, koala kong, and my favorite rilla roo.

Crash Bash Is Just Pure Fun!

Crash Bash is the fifth Crash Bandicoot game. All five are great. This one is many different areas of fun. You can play an arcade version, which is fun or you can play head to head, or there is the adventure mode. Either one is great. I would reccomend all of the Crash games, but if you just want a game that is just fun to play, this is the game.

Excellent game for children and adults

I am very particular about the video games that I purchase, I have a child in Kdg. and I don't want him exposed to violent games. He picked this game up easily and the whole family can play. It provides a variety of different goals and it's never boring.

Mario party goes down!

When this game came out i thought it was the worst immitation of mario party. Then i played the game and i was surprised, this game is tons better than mario party. No board game, only tons of mini games like 4 player pong, polar bear fights, tank fights, and much more. Crash bash is also better becuse it has bosses, different bosses, not like mario party that it is only bowser. This game is a worth buying game.

This game is pretty annoying because there's a person I don't know who says, "3, 2, 1, go" (well I suppose it's Uka uka). I have the strategy guide and there's no way you can get out of the last warp room. (It the warp room where all the bonus games are). And I can never go past the first one. Well all the Create Crush levels are pretty bad. And the easiest things are the pogo stick levels. It's still a pretty good game.
