I loved this game! The charachters are great. It's not too easy, yet you aren't stuck in any really hard spots that you just can't beat. It's pretty long and there's always more to do. .just when you think it's ended it hasn't. The graphics are pretty good. The story just blows me away. . .I've been obsessed with this game for weeks untill I finally defeated it. I desperately hope there is a sequal!

Legend of Legaia was a great game, but some aspects I couldn't handle. The constant battles got really annoying while trying to work your way through the land and beginner RPG fans might find this one a little long (and it's just one CD! ). The battle system although unique can get pretty tiresome after a while. It has it's good points as well. The graphics are excellent and the story line is pretty good and the fact that you can absorb enemy monsters and use them for yourself is a bonus. Overall it was a good game to play.

This is why games shouldn't be made/released so quickly!

Though Legend of Legaia begins with an entertaining episode, it quickly falls apart after the first few minutes. The menace, an evil mist machine that launches monsters into the world, is uncreative and not very menacing at all. The characters have almost no personality, and Noa in particular is ridiculous. Though the combat system is new and kind of fun, the difficulty of the battles and tiny amount of experience and gold (combined with the incredible amounts that the player needs) are devices used to lengthen an otherwise tiny, unimaginative game.

I adore this game. While it may not have the deep stoyline of games like Xenogears or FFVII, it is definately a game that will keep you up playing for awhile. The graphics are, on average, well done, and the battles are beautiful. My only gripe is the music. While the tunes won't make you hit the mute button, there are no awe-inspiring scores. Other than that, this is a wonderful game.

I really liked this game! My husband is the gamer of the family, but he and I played this game together (taking turns) and it was great fun! The characters are a little silly, but it's fun and challenging! I would definitely recommend it!

This game is okay. It's a good beginner title. The battle system is fun, but it gets repetitive after awile. I recommend renting this title insted. If you want a really good Rpg get FFVII.

Good character designs in a solid, classic RPG.

Legend of Legaia has a fairly standard storyline, but compensates with a unique fighting system and likable characters. Its magic system is almost a premonition of FF8, in that magic is "drawn" from the monsters you fight. Some of the higher level spells are impressive, but they are no match for the characters' natural fighting ability -- most of the combos would put Jackie Chan to shame. (I love Noa's "Tough Love" attack!) If you happen to know a few phrases of Japanese (which the US distributors thankfully left alone) the game is even more fun. Those who would claim the characters lack personality don't know what Noa is REALLY saying when she throws that huge combo!

This game started out very good, good graphics, good plot, good storyline, but later it got somewhat repetitive. The ending was a little off center, but other than that it was ok. I say 4 stars because after a while the plot got kinda boring. Way too short a game. It also needed a lot more secrets. If you are looking for a good, short play I recommend this one.

As Vahn, you are on a quest to rid the world of the mist that is spreading death and destruction. This is a game with a good story, easy to master battle system, and reasonably good graphics. Legaia is a good game for those new to the RPG genre. It is easy to figure out the controls, relatively short, and has a straight forward story line with decent characters. Lots-a-fun!

I loved this game, I bought it not knowing what it was and I got sucked in by its originality... I love how you can summon the enemies you defear (well some anyway), and It had a good story line, and great graphics and gameplay. The one thing I didn't like was the battles... they're GREAT at first, but after a while, they get repetitive, take a while, especially when trying to kill without magic, and the boss battles are almost all the exact same thing after you learn certain things... I was easily able to put up with the game though because the rest made up for it!
