I have loved this game from the moment I bought it and alsoresident evil 1. Also the upcoming reesident evil: nemesis (part3). RE:2 is the best game ever (next to part one). Please feel free to look me up. I really enjoy playing all Capcoms greatest hits. END

It is as gory as Dawn of the Dead

This game is a one heck of a good game. No matter if you play as Leon or Clair you will defintley be in for a nice chill. I will recomend this game to anybody that loves gore. The graphics of this game are almost unreal.

It kicks major butt!

I think its an awesome, thilling adventure though the threashhold of pure evil. I love the custom-magnum,and not to mention, the lovely miss Claire Redfield.I like eggs?! Sorry,I have to pay more attention.I believe that Resident Evil 2 is one of the best Survival Horror games ever imagined by Capcom and the great efforts of Sony.

A very slick, gory and frightening sequel to the original

.You take the role of Leon Kennedy,A brave new rookie cop coming to Raccoon police station, unaware of what's really on the dinner menu of his welcoming party, or Claire Redfield, the beautiful sister of Chris Redfield, she has come to search for him, as he has been missing for months.

The FMV movies and graphics ever to grace the playstation, great and easy to use controls, frightening suprises and music to match.Anyone got a shotgun?

This survival/horror game kept me on the seat of my chair 'till midnight until I finally beat it (with the help of a strategy guide). If you liked the original Res. Evil, go and get this game! Rather then a stuffed up mansion, you have a whole city full of brain-eating zombies ou to get you. Sounds nice, doesn't it. You haven't seen nothin' until you've seen something, so...go and buy it!

A playstation landmark!

Resident Evil is outstanding!!! If you like horror-adventure games this is a GREAT start. The game plays very similar to the first (Resident Evil) and allows for addtional gameplay once you finish the game - in more ways than one! Finally, gamemakers have made a game worth your hard-earned dollars.

First, you can play any of two characters, Leon or Claire, similar to the prequel. Once you finish with that character you are given the option to play that same game using the other character. This allows you to experience what the other character is going through during the game once both characters are initially seperated. Well, somewhat, anyway.

Second, there are two versions of the game, Original and Arrange. Once you finish those you can further work on relishing your fun with the Extreme Battle version. There are at least three difficulty levels in this version, allowing you to play with at least two more additional character options. Cool!

On the flip-side, there are SOME terrible camera angles which are annoying and make the game difficult to play/survive, but are much better than the prequel. In addition, the game is designed with some poor interactive flaws, such as telling you that you've picked up something when you can clearly tell that you already have. This doesn't effect you gameplay much, but acts as more of a distractor. You'll want to stay into the game. Also, you can't swap out items that you find when your inventory is full - how frustrating is that?!

Altoghether, the game has a descent story-line, excellent gameplay controls (three configurations are available), very good attetion to detail graphics/sounds and enough excitement to keep you coming back for more - REALLY!

Resident Evil 2 lets you go more places than Resident Evil.

This game is the best. You can cruise around the city, go into police buildings just mostly do what ever you want. Another reason why I think this game should be number one is, every single gameing magazine says that "Resident Evil 2" has a good story to it from begining, to end. One thing that I don't like is, there is just a little too much blood, I mean I don't want any blood, because then it wouldn't look like a real game. But, besides that I love the game.

One of the best damn games to date

Resident evil 2 is the sequal to the blockbuster hit resident evil. The game starts a few months after the events of resident evil. You take the role of a rookie cop, Leon Kennedy, or Chris Redfield's sister Claire. Both games are very impressive in story line, and graphic performance. If you were a fan of the first one or you just like gory games this one is for you. Money well spent.
