Lemonade Tycoon was great fun, but I wish it went furthur in the game and challenged you more after you got all the upgrades(ice machine, cash register..). Great fun. Great for Elementary School kids to learn basics of business too!! I recommend to buy.

Relaxing game

I really liked this game because it teaches the basics of business instead of making all the rules complicated. One step at a time learned business rules take a businessman a long way.

Takes only a couple of days to totally get the hang of this game. After you've bought all the upgrades, it's just a matter of buying ingredients and selling lemonade at the Hexa stadium. Mind-numbing.

So boring, it should be called Boring Tycoon

This game truly is the worst tycoon games I've ever seen! The graphics are horrible (it's almost impossible to tell the alphabets apart), the sound is awful and sometimes there's no sound at all (unless it's raining). You can't even see your own character and the only expressions that you can get from the customer for your lemonade are:

-bad
-good
-too much sugar
-too expensive

9/10 times, the customer will think you make really bad lemonade which is very very frustrating. For example, I tried nearly 40 times before I found the right recipe for the lemonade. Which by the way is all the sugars, all the lemonade and all the ice cubes.

Another thing that I find very annoying about this game is its repetitive buying of ingredients. You can't buy too much but you also can't buy too little. For example, if you buy 200 ice cubes, they will melt but if you buy too little, you will go out of stock.

I still haven't figured out the point of having the LSX (lemonade stock exchange). I think it's just there for no obvious reasons. And also, you don't have any opponent. Your opponent is yourself. That is, when you load the game you have to chose all the company names (which would become your opponent). For instance, if you chose WWW for your company name then you have to type in yourself your opponent's company name. Say if you chose EEE, then you have to first be EEE and then be WWW so WWW would have an opponent in the LSX. I do not understand the point of doing this.

The senarios are also really stupid. For example, a scenario would be something like:

- National high temperature
- Citizens raid Town centre

etc.

I hope my review was helpful to you. Please do not buy! It's for your own good.

Good For About Two Minutes

This game will keep you occupied for about two minutes. Then it get boring.

After getting the upgrades (and there are only a few) and going to the different venues, it's just the same thing over and over.

I doubt it was worth the $9.00 I paid for it.

Lemonade Tycoon not same as LemTycoon 2 New York Edition

I see people complaining that this "Lemonade Tycoon" does not have the same features as the free game trial they downloaded from Yahoo. Well, duh---the Yahoo game that is available right now is a newer, updated version called "Lemonade Tycoon 2 New York Edition".

That being said, I guess I'll need to buy the game from Yahoo as the version here does not look nearly as exciting, and I can't find any reports that the newer edition will be on sale anywhere else anytime soon...

WATA HELL IS THIS ?

A terrible game that costs $20.00!
I plaed this game at my friend's house.
Its so BORING.
You can buy everything there in 1 week!
This game sucks.
Not worth the money.
should be $5.00.
A little secret, by accident I found this out, if u go to that women that helps u sell lemonade, clik hire, and then fire.
Sales will go faster.
I suggest either u look some where to download the full version (which sucks), or buy it for $20.00!
(which also sucks)
:-)

Make sure you get the right version

I was disappointed that this version did not have the extras like more options to buy and staff to hire. Be careful which version you buy!

The first time I ever played this game was in March of 2004. I downloaded it off of the internet for free. It was awesome. It had many different places to sell your lemonade, staff you could hire to help out, and many products you could buy that speed up the lemonade making process. I liked it a lot.

About a month later, I bought the game. It was terrible. You could not hire help anymore and many of the items and fetures were gone. I thought it was a big waste of money
