Monster Rancher 3

This game is amazing! There are 5 areas,Brilla,Takrama,Morax,Goat Ocean, and Kalagari. You start at the shrine where you have a lot of blabbering. You enter your name and gender, and Grandpa Bragma refuses to give you a monster. You walk away and meet Flarea who blackmails Grandpa Bragma into giving you a monster. Then you choose wheather to have a premade monster (Zoom, Hare, or Mooci), or use a disc. Then some stuff happens and either a monster apears or Grandpa Bragma tells you that that monster is too strong and you have to try again. After you have a monster ,you go to Morax. A girl will come and you will battle. After battleing , Grandpa Bragma comes and gives you a mask. You start training and your monster's stats go up .A monster's training takes 1 week. You can watch the training. At the beginning of each month you feed you monster. You also can participate in battles or "Light of Earth". 4 times a year there is a Tokichin Festa, a big battle. If you win the Tokichin Festa, you and your monster go up a leval. There is a lot more I didn't type, but you will love this game.

This game is cool.

This game has a lot of monsters. You can really get into the game, so you might even be sad when your monster dies (like my goat ocean hengar). The battles aren't just rock paper sissors style, and the psrollers are SO cute. The Tamarak lord is AWESOME and you get new skills. Both girls and boys can enjoy it, because there are the cutesy-wootsy monsters, and for boys there is the awesome dragons and robots and knights and more stuff to. AND YOU GET TO WEAR COOL STUFF! You choose the food for your monster, and you don't need to (thogh it is cool) use other disks because it comes with 3 monsters alredy in your encyclopida.

this game is fun. there are new monsters to unlock, the battle system is good, and the story line is good too. but lolocking monsters can take a long time if you have alot of C.D's. And 1 thing i thought is really good, once you unlock a monster there is a profile of which monsters you get and if a monster you really like dies, you can unlock it for the profile. i kinda wish they didn't take out the Phonix monster from moster Racher 2.
For the power of the monster i suggest you power up 1.) life 2.)speed 3.) power. i've done best with the 3 things. over all the game is fun.

Its all right.

This game is a never ending game with no real ending to it. Some monsters look really cool and others don't. My favorite is the dragons. I got one. You can play this game forever and you really won't "beat it". Its a great game for those who like to train animals or monsters. The best thing is that you can put CD's and DVD's in and you get a monster out of it. You can also compete with your monster in tournaments. When your monster dies, you can just get another one. Overall, its pretty good and those who liked the Game Boy Pokemon games will probably like this.

Life after monster rancher

Monster Rancher 3 is a monster raising simulation unlike any other on the market. You "create" monsters by using cds, dvds, and PSX and PS2 games, and raise them to compete in battles in the game.
There are 5 different raising locales: A desert, a forest, a jungle, underwater, and artic. Each locale has its own unique drills that are used to raise your monster's attributes (power, intelligence, speed, defense, and life) and grow stronger to fight in harder battles. This is a very basic summary of Monster Rancher 3.
Overall i found it to be enjoyable, but very brief and hardly challenging. There is very little to do in the game after you beat the final boss, unlike the other games in the monster rancher series.
However, an online community of Monster Ranchers has sprung up and supports Monster Rancher 3 in their own way: The hold online monster rancher tournaments. How? By using an Interact Sharkport to send the save files to a host, and broadcasting the fights live in a chatroom, the online community has found a way to extend the replay value of Monster Rancher 3. And that is exactly the area in which MR3 lacks. So if you have the game, or are thinking about buying it, look up monster rancher metropolis and legendcup on the web for more information.

If you have ever played pokemon or digimon and hated it, this game will definately change your mind about monster-breeding. Unlike pokemon, the idea for staying in one spot and training and battling one monster at a time is way better. You take a monster, ethier from a household CD or DVD, or from collecting disc pieces in the game and getting a monster, then you take it home and give it training excersises. It soon will become strong and loyal enough to put it in battle with another monster. It will ethier win or lose, and ethier way you gain stats of experience. If it wins, you take home a trophy, money, and be able to compete in a tournament of a higher level. If you lose, well, let's just say your monster needs more training.
I'd say that this game has awesome graphics, very good gameplay, and a decent addiction level. The only problem is that some of the songs can get really annoying.

This is a great Game. The Replay value is great because you can customize your monsters with accesories and the way that you train them determines their abilities. Here's the deal: You start out by choosing amonster, you train it and fight it all over the place and get money to buy stuff to help you get better so you can win a tournament and get more famous. when your monster gets too old it slows down in its training and then it dies and leaves you with its 'heart' which your next monster eats and it makes him stronger. Play until you want to because the game never ends.

Not the best Monster Rancher yet

Let me first say that this game is great. It has a lot of new features that will keep you going for a while. The look of the game is a bit different from the other two but it adds a new flavor to it none the less. It does seem there are a lot less monsters in this version than in Monster Rancher 2 which I do not like. I do give it credit though for creating some new designs on some old monsters and coming up with some new ones as well. The game play is basically the same except now you're handicapped with a limited amount of moves you can perform in battles, this alone is a very disappointing change to the game.
Only having four moves makes you think which ones are worth wild and you have to have a good strategy when entering battles now.
Another change is the no skills required theme which is good and bad at some points in the game. The fact that you have one less skill to worry about is good, but not really being able to hit an opponent stinks. When you play the game you'll see what I mean.
I also don't like the fact that you can't combine monsters like in the previous two games, that is also a down side to the game.
If you can get past the lack of monsters and the no combining factor then you will really enjoy this game.
I bought it and I have fun playing it. In the end that's all that really matters...right? So if you liked either of the previous two Monster Ranchers then you will like this one too.

this game suckkkss!!!!!!!
