Shadow of Destiny

5 Rating: 5, Useful: 1 / 1

Shadow of Destiny is a great murder mystery time game. Not a very hard game to beat or play. Many wonderful Endings: a-e. two endings can happen for b. Two more endings for the Extra game after you get all 5 endings.

Everytime you play, you can get different scenarios. Great sound and graphics. With characters that speak in the game, there is no need to read anything. All you do is walk around looking for things u need to pick up that glows in blue, chat with people, and give them things. Simple enough. Just have to make sure that you don't run out of time and it's ok to die a lot. The more scenarios you get and things you do, the higher percentage you get for each chapter.

I recommend getting the game if your interested in that sort of thing.

This game is awesome! It has great graphics and has a cool storyline that is really original. There is no other game out that has a storyline like this....Eike Kusch, the main character, has just died. He is given another chance at life by a mysterious being and is given a device called a Digipak. This device will let you travel through time to prevent things from happening that will lead to your death. This game is great and you will love it if you like adventure or mystery games.BUY IT!

This game leaves me begging for more. Many games I have played get boring after a few hours, but this one is so hard to pull away from that it has almost made me late for work a few times. Graphics are top notch and the story line is very compelling, I have played it through twice and have came up with 2 different endings and I still don't have answers to my questions. I only wish there was a strategy guide.

One of the Best PS2 Games!

I have to admit, I have been quite disappointed in the PS2 games so far. The only one I enjoyed playing was Onimusha. Finally I was able to play another game that I can truly enjoy! Shadow of Destiny is not in the same genre as survival horror, so it isn't hack 'n slash. It is an adventure game based on puzzle solving through time periods. Even if you are like me who only like games involving a lot of action, you may still want to try this out. I'm glad I did b/c it involves such a different kind of gameplay and the graphics were amazing! Needless to say I was not disappointed. Well, except maybe the game could have been a bit longer!

hmmmmmm...........

Hello, I just want you to know that i'm not easily impressed.I gave this game a BIG 4.I love games with awesome graphics, suspence, scary fantasy, some mystery.Well,I just love a game thats makes me want more.Pulls me in,like a movie.I don't really like games that, well, where you do a lot of fighing.I mean it's like when your fighting in a video game ad you don't beat the dude, and then you try for the 48th time and you beat him. Then you figure out you have to fight an even harder dude.IT'S NOT WORTH IT!It's much better if your playing a game where your walking down the street all alone (throw in a little scary music)and your assasin takes out a knife and stabs you.Quick as that while your not looking, now that's a video game! This game does just that! Your dude is having a rough life being chased by an evil man.But everytime you die you awaken to something mysterious and you go into the past to fix things up.I'm really not good at explaining this, just rent it and see if you like it and buy it!

Shadow of Destiny, The Shadow of Greatness

Three cheers for Shadow, of Destiny... Three cheers for Shadown, of Destiny... Sorry, guess I got carried away. Shadow of Destiny is probably the tied best game on Playstaion 2. You are Eike, a man that keeps getting killed and given a second chance. You must figure out how to save yourself from dying. The story is constantly adding more details and inquizitive clues to the storylin until the game ends with a shocking conclusion. (depending on which ending you get) There are many different endings, all with a different twist. This game is definatly worth fifty dollars, and if you think it's too expensive, then get it used for half the cost.

I have lent a playstation 2 from my step brother.Shadow of destiny was one of the games he lent me.I thought it was a great game and would defiantly reccomend it for RPG lovers. The game plot is about Eike a young male who has the chance to cheat death and change his own fate. The Background and graphics are set to blow your mind, The characters are ideal and well designed, Plus you have to travel through different timelines where you can walk through streets and meet new citizens. There are 7 different endings which make you want to play this game over and over again. I have to say i can never get bored of this wicked RPG. So maybe the graphics arn't exactly final fantasy style, which were my favourite games but this game is set for big things. So forget final fantasy X pick up this game, place it in ur console, take a seat, relax and enjoy this Perfect game with cool characters, Gripping endings, Beautiful settings and breath-takin plots. Awesome!
!Can you see why i gave this game 5/5 eh? lol!

This is a must own game. If you like mystery games you will love this game. You are Eike Kusch a regular guy who gets his chance to prevent his own death. You will travel through time and change the past to keep alive. And the killer is a big surprise you never expect. This is a fun game. There are 6 endings so when you beat you got to do it again for a new ending. And the endings are awesome. Well This is a great game ive beating the game 6 times and got all the endings....

Great job, Konami!

I won't go so far as to say that this is a must-own game, because once you've gotten through it once or twice, you might not want to play it much more than that, but it still is an excellent, excellent game. The graphics and sound are terrific, and the game is so realistic that you actually feel like you're walking around an old European town. That's what amazes me -- that you can go wherever you want in town, and since it's all in 3D rendering, it actually looks like you're walking through an alley, up a hill, in a tower, etc. There are also some sort of spooky parts to the game that had me and roommate trying to remember what we had done in our respective games to make the outcomes different from each other... The level of difficulty of the problems isn't very high (I found this game to be very easy compared to other adventure games), but all in all, it's a great game to pick up. It's the kind of game that makes you glad you bought a PS2.

Good game, just a Shadow of Doubt

Someone has a major grudge against Eike (our hero) and wants him dead. Lucky for Eike, he meets a mysterious being with the ability to send Eike back in time. Then it's up to Eike, what does he change to (hopefully) prevent his own demise! The killer is relentless, so Eike is constantly having to come up with ideas! Fast! For each "level", you have a limited ammount of time. This game has excellent characters, visual design, storyline and 5 different multiple endings! Excellent replay value just to see all the endings that will shock and surprise you! Despite being killed all the time, it's not as scary or gory as Resident Evil. What makes this game different from any adventure game I've played is you don't get to "hack and slash". Eike has to use his brain, not brawn, to thwart his enemy. That may turn off some gamers who like to "aim and fire". It disappointed me a little bit that I couldn't simply hack my enemy....but then again, the enemy is a mystery until you reach the end. A truly unique game experience. I felt the game was a bit short. But the multiple endings make up for it.
