i liked this game for several reasons
1.better multi player place to play
2.better weapons and gagets than golden eye
3.mission are more fun and challenging
4.if you have the x-box version you can have bots and you can just play the bots by yourself

Okay

Good multiplayer and fun driving missions, but there are 3 things wrong with it. 1. NO BLOOD 2. NO COOPERATIVE; I mean come on multi cooperative was great on HALO 3.TOO EASY! I beat this game the first night I rented it. Defently a good game to rent, but not to buy.

How could this game be so bad?

The most surprising part of this game is how bad it is. You would think that after seeing GoldenEye, Perfect Dark, and Halo, that the developers would be able to get it right or at least come close. But all three of those games are far superior in terms of game play. Here's why this game is so bad. Which again is surprising, since GoldenEye, Perfect Dark, and Halo. All have this!

1. The controls are the worst of any first player game (next to the first Turok). For controller settings, you have four choices, and two of them are button layouts, so really only two. If you like left handed configurations like Halo's Southpaw, or GoldenEye's Solitare setting, you are out of luck. And don't get me started on the horrible delay when you switch weapons and gadgets. Every time you switch a weapon, you think it didn't register and your pressing the button again and again. The auto aim, made me want to cry in frustration, cause the AI had them running so wierd, and the bullets fired through slow.

2. The AI is the worst. Even Turok was better. Most of my shooting matches we're me chasing some guard that ran in circles. I would see guards running in place like Michael Jackson. Tee-hee.

3. Too simple. The biggest challenge was dealing with how bad the controls were and how stupid the ai was. And to make it worse, they constantly give you hints like the camera panning, audio clues (sometimes at the same time), or display things you need to shoot in red. Thanks for dumbing it up.

4. The load time. This is the only first person shooter I've seen in the past three years, that has to load IN THE MIDDLE OF THE LEVEL.

5. Random stupid stuff? Like the solid beams of light from an enemy's sniper rifle, the grenades that go two feet when you throw them. The slow bullets that you can actually see go through the air (like bullet time on max payne but durning the game which is supposedly real time). The horrible sayings of the guards say over and over again. It seemed every level I had crawl in an air ducts and shoot down helicopters? Why do I have to kill the same bosses over and over again? Oh yeah they're clones, clever. Rocket launchers very rarely kill people, which just ruins multiplayer

I guess I should say some positive things. And they are not many. The driving in the game was fun and well done, but short and easy. The graphics looked fine, especially the women. But that just makes me feel weird.

Save your self some money, and rent this is if you have to. But stick to Halo, or go back to the old GoldenEye if you want to see a real Bond (it even looks more like the real bond).

An almost total dissapointment

I have to say I expected a lot from this game. I remember looking at the screenshots preview and thinking that this game would rock as HALO did. Upon starting this game for the first time I immediately noticed the akward control / movement when in first person view mode. It just felt so akward and not fluid as HALO (yeah, HALO set the bar high for FPS games). The driving sequences were good but, not nearly enough. And then I tried the multiplayer, o lord .. it just [stunk]. Needless to say, I immediately trade this game after finishing it (yeah, I'm the kind of player who would finish a game eventhough it felt like a chore). Rent it, don't buy it.

The Legacy of Bond

To all those who complain how stupid the bots are, maybe you should try taking auto aim off. It makes the game a lot more interesting. I bought GoldenEye the day it came out and there will never be a substitute for what that game brought into the action game environment. However, Agent Under Fire does an excellent job with graphics and motion. This game also fufills every gamer's dream of actually getting in that vehicle and moving around the level. The makers of Bond do, and will continue to make headway in the action game sector.

Why this?

Get Halo. Halo is much better... 007 is only a lazy attempt to get onto the Xbox, but the aiming is totally off... the characters move way too fast... it doesn't seem human. very unrealistic.

bond is back and is worst than ever.

This game [is bad]. I think that Goldeneye, The world is not Enough, and Tommorow Never Dies are by far the best of the Bond games. I think that this was not a good idea. The graphics [are bad], the gameplay [is bad], and the multiplayer is even worst. Hopefully the next Bond game will kick this ones fat ... back to the industry to teach the makers a lesson!!!

This game is great for xbox, I've always been a big fan of james bond. I wish this game went online. At first I had trouble with this game, after playing halo I used inverted controls... well with james bond, it took me awhile to find the option to change it to inverted. once i got it how i liked it, it works pretty well for me.

Another thing i didnt like was how fast you ran out of ammo. I like to blow everything up!! BOOM BOOM... maybe some blood would be nice too... but 'eh i'm sick :) and i know they want kids playing.

all in all, great game

Does anyone remeber Goldeneye 007 for the N64, well, you should. This game is much better than that game because of the extremely fun and enjoyable multiplayer mode. The guns are very realistic and it's hilarious to watch a guy get blasted by a photon cannon. My friend had a sleepover and I went. He has a Gamecube and he rented 007: Agent Under Fire. I thought that the game wouldn't be very good because it wasn't made by the same company that made Goldeneye 007 for the N64. EA makes this game, and Goldeneye 64 was made by Rare and Nintendo. But when I first started to play the multiplayer mode with some of my friends, I realized that this game is really good. The controls are very simple and easy. And when you turn around, you move very gracefully and quick so you don't have to become impatient. I give this game: 007: Agent Under Fire, a five star rating because this game jumped out at me with its superb graphics and fun gameplay. So if you plan or anyone you know palns to get this game, I highly recommend that you tell them what I have said, because this game deserves to be known. This game is a great game!
