I was surprised!

My brother has this game, and I thought it would be really childish, but I was totally surprised - it's addictive! PK is a cool version of Donald Duck, and it's basically a fun shooter; you get to blast the aliens. It's also got a cool cartoon look, and it's easy enough to pick up quickly, but hard enough to keep you playing for a while. I haven't finished it yet, though.

Best Game ever!!

Well, nothing about this game really stands out. It is on the short side, and relatively easy. The problem with this is that Gamecube is loaded with better platformers. Super Mario Sunshine, Star Fox Adventures, and even Dr. Muto stand out above this. Yet still, there is some solid platforming here for the younger audience. You play as Donald Duck, or "PK", as he is renamed. Graphics are simple, framerate is poor, and levels feel too similar to each other. If you are dying to have a Disney-based platformer, this will do.

Another horrifically short game.

I was hoping to rent this game because I had my doubts that it would be either fun or challenging. I was right on both counts.

Since I couldn't find it for rental, my money had to be wasted on a purchase. The game went into my GameCube at 5:45 and the ending credits were rolling before 11:00. (I also was able to get take out and eat dinner during that time as well.) These disposable games which scam people out of their money really annoy me. Disney's an old pro at slapping their "reputable" name on all sorts of poor products these days.

As you probably know, PK is actually the superhero incarnation of Donald Duck. He is given a gun and a few limited types of ammo. You can lock onto a target and blast away. Just travel though eleven pathetically drab levels while finding scientists and shooting at everything else you come across. Oh boy...what a concept!

The voice acting is awful. The controls are sluggish. The camera (surprise surprise) has virtually no function to control it and causes you to fall to your untimely death several times. Graphics would be appropriately impressive...if they were for the N64.

Bottom line: if you love Disney and video games I'm sure you know by now what to do. Buy Kingdom Hearts and Kingdom Hearts 2. Now THAT'S a franchise Disney can be proud of!
