A little insane, but...

This game is definetly made for the adult user. It's a quality setup in terms of graphics, there are missions to complete similar to other more main stream games, but the game is veryyyy violent, and often times repulsive to some users. It's basically your typical FPS game, where you are in the shoes of the main character causing all the chaos. If you complete all the missions by the end of the "week" in the game, you win.

Good luck.

Definitely a legend to be rivaled

Forget what you know about psycotic games. This is probably the best and most f***** up game I've ever played. The replay value is virtually endless. But seriously, buy this game....unless your someone agaist violent videos games.

Too ugly, too short, great fun though.

Cons:
- the graphics is ugly, even if you compare it to some old GTA
- the delays between locations are very annoying
- the single-player plot is just too short

Pros:
- terribly funny, in a sick way though, so some people would dislike it
- higly "interactive", in somehow sick way, too - eg. a dog might fetch a HEAD you've just kicked

Summary - great fun and bargain at 10$, so read other reviews and decide if it's fun or sick for you.

This game roxxed. It is not politically correct. In fact, it strives to PO the PC Police. It is in your face, crude, and tons of fun in both storyline and gameplay.

Too funny for words

I purchased this game two years ago, and I have never laughed so hard while playing a game. I love the political incorrectness and the postal dude's comments during gameplay, like "Maybe it would be more politically correct to kill the women and minorities first". The whole game is centered around one week in the life of the Postal Dude, who resides in the not so quiet city of Paradise, AZ. You start on Monday, and try to make through to Friday, each day has a number of errands to run in various parts of town, and you have to deal with every manner of crazy people, inclduing "Habib" the convenience store operator and Gary Coleman. (You have to get his autograph on Tuesday at the Paradise Mall, very funny stuff) RWS states that "its only as violent as you are", but I have never been able to play it in a passive manner. I just cant resist torching the marching band or shooting the elephants at the parade ground, or kicking the dog. All in all a very entertaining game, and one I will be playing again and again until Postal 3 comes out. Keep a lookout for the new Postal movie, being banned at a theatre near you.

Sick but funny

A fun game in a twisted sorta way. The cheats add another fun factor to the game as you can fly over everyone and reak havoc. I havnt tried the expansion packs but from the reviews i prolly won't until their dirt cheap,,,,but for less than twenty bucks...its a good game for the money.

10 TIMES SICKER THAN GTA

I was not entirely sure what to expect from this game. CGW had given it a score of 0% and described it as the "worst product foistered upon consumers" yet PC Gamer gave it a score of 79%. After playing it I think I am able to understand the vast difference of opinions.

Postal 2 is not for the faint of heart. This game purposefully sets out to be as offensive and politically incorrect as possible. If dousing a cop in gasoline, lighting her on fire, urinating on her to put out the fire, and then decapitating her with a shovel as she tries to crawl away, in too much pain to walk or run because she has 4th degree burns across her entire body, does not sound like fun then this game is not for you.

While it is true that much of what makes Postal 2 good rests on it being "offensive", I also enjoyed the freedom the game offers you. Other than that it is a decent FPS with ok graphics. In my opinion it is mostly the content that makes this game such a blast. I highly recommend it, however I can understand how one could find this game either disturbing or unamusing.

Fun game, just don't expect too much

I bought this game for $20 from the website when I had the week off from work. I wanted a violent, first-person shooter that wasn't too involved or complicated, because I had about a week to play it. I got what I bargained for. My main complaint is that the maps are painfully non-interactive (you can't drive the cars, for example; the most you can do is break bottles on the street and leave bullet holes on objects). Well, I kinda take that back...I enjoyed blowing up the gas station. The weapons are not too unique...the shotgun does about as much damage as the rifle and pistol, in my opinion. However, I did enjoy the rifle, which had a scope on it. But in spite of these shortcomings, it is a fun game. I played it at a leisurely pace for about two weeks and looked forward to every minute. You can be as violent or as peaceful as you want. In the end, it's a fun game, but don't expect a well-developed masterpiece (like Resident Evil 4).

Blood? Violence? Gore? YES! YES! YES!

If you like shooting games, BUY IT!!! This game is so much fun, I can't even begin to explain! There is no other game that gives you the satisfaction that this one can. It is so amazing at how dropping off a book in the library (one of the game's missions) can turn into a flaming battle between you and the environmentalists. There is no better satisfaction than *relieving* yourself all over your latest victims. This is a must have for any gamer.

Sick humor, not for the kids, lots of fun

This game is a blast, they refuse to sell it in my local stores because the humor involved is dark and definetly probably not something you'd want your ten year old playing. The game starts off with a trailer park resident dealing with his dead Pinto (lol) and beating the neighbors mean dog with a shovel, like I said dark humor, not for kids. You can walk around the game with your fly open (and get comments from passersby about the door being open) and choose to wip it out and pee on your opponent too. The people that wrote this are definetly of the off color humor set.....funny as heck if you're into that kind of humor. You find assault weapons in the local insane asylum and there are more than a few pokes at the Taliban and the situation in the middle east....but if you're into hunting terrorists I suppose you'd really find this amusing. One of the more silly parts of the game is the use of cats as silencers on rifles.......I suppose some cat lover is outraged right now. This game is a riot but it's not for the kids.
