When I first bought this game I was looking for a replacement for the one my niece destroyed. It is the most annoying games that anyone could think of. The programming could have been done better by a 3 year old, as the game is full of errors and, if like me, your computer is not on the internet and you have to use another computer for the internet, the game is completely useless.

This is a great game, playable for hours and hours. Having to set up flights day after day would seem to be boring and repetitive, but for some reason it is actually addictive. There are several side things that you have to do as well, such as purchase fuel for storage when the price is low, advertise to get a better image, buy and sell company shares from all 4 airlines, etc. The biggest flaw with the game is some kind of manual check that comes up. I think it is to verify that you have a legal version or something. This comes up randomly and sometimes often. It really can ruin your concentration and throw you off your game. Aside from that, the game is a lot of fun for the money. Just don't pay more than $10 for it and it will be worth it.

THis game was fun. it was a long game it also gives you all the levels form airline tycoon. I would recomend buying it.

This game, while including some very nice expansions on the original Airline Tycoon, had some major bugs in it.

For starters, parts of the text in the game were in German. Particularly the news-stand articles. Also, part of the airport announcements were done in German, and English. The copy of the game I had was supposed to be the US release version, so there should have been 0 German text to begin with.

Furthermore, the planes that the player could build weren't painted in the livery of the player's airline. They were left in unpainted metal. Furthermore, the design elements were limited, and some not very attractive. It gave the aircraft a cartoonish look.

Overall, I'm disappointed with Airline Tycoon: Evolution. If you ask me, it was more of a De-evolution.

It delivered very quickly and installed very easily. The game is very fun and I've found no problems with it. I would definetly recommend this game to others.

AIRLINE TYCOON IS IN MY MIND THE BEST AIRLINE TYCOON GAME EVER! YOU CAN DO PRETTY MUCH ANYTHING IN THE AIRPORT AND THE CONTROLS ARE THE SAME WITH THE EXCEPTION OF THE NEW ADDITIONS TO THE AIRPORT. THE SECURITY SHOP MAKES IT SO THAT THE RISK OF SABOTAGE IS DECREASED. THE AIRPLANE CREATOR IS THE BEST ADDITION. THE PLANES COST ALOT BUT YOU CAN CREATE THE PLANE YOUR OWN WAY. I GIVE THIS GAME 5 STARS HANDS DOWN.

Per the comment of the last person, No it is a completely new game. a sequel so to speak. Yes it will work on XP

I LOVE this game, it's a little rough on the edges, but overall, a great game. I especially love the fact that you can sabotage your opponents! To do this, you go to the duty free shop and buy the violin case (if it's not there by the second day, then it probably wont ever be there) then when you go to the petroloil place, you click on it in your inventory, then he says something like "push on the fire extinguisher to your right, it might interest you" then do what he says and you will be in the back room of petroloil, talk to the guy back there and he will sabotage your opponents for you! AH! BUT HOLD ON, It's not so easy -- you have to pay him a LOTTA $$$, but it's worth it, and if the airport manager finds out, you have to pay a BIG fine, much more than the sabotage was worth, and then your competitor knows that YOU sabotaged him, instead of it being a mystery, so he gets all mad at you. It's also a good idea to go to their website and dowload the available patches when you get the game, and check back often.

This is a very fun game, and if you like the original, this is worth getting. There is an error with the game though if you don't download a patch from the website(30 day manual check).
