Knights of the Nine

I wanted a stamped CD instead of the downloaded content and I can't complain.
I got more then I expected... not only did I get the Nights of the Nine but I also got seven additional MODS plus the patch... all on one cd.
I would have glady paid for the additional content but Bethesda threw them in anyway. Thank you Bethesda DEV team!
These addons brought new life to the game. I did feel however that the Orrery SHOULD have been included in the original build and release of the game... It felt like I was short sheeted.
Anyway this fixed that and I highly recommend that if you have not gotten this yet then DO IT NOW.

Great supliment to oblvion. I am sure that this is what was left out in their rush to get the game out originally. I only wish that Bethesda would get a few more patches out to fix ALL of the many glitches in the original game(oblivion).

A nice edition but not worth the money I'm afraid.

When this first was released I was confused thinking it would be a full expansion pack, but I was far from right about that one. It gives you another large quest chain and a couple new areas to check out. The Knights of the Nine armor set is totally worth it due to the fact that I felt it was better than anything available in the TRUE EXPANSION Shivering Isles. Of course if you are a fan of the game its a must have. Overall not too bad.

More area would be better

I was pleased to see and expansion on Oblivion but was a little disapponited. I expected more area of expansion of the territory but only got a few extra quest in areas already explored. It would be better if new worlds opened up also. Revisiting old sights and looking for new changes that aren't there,is not what I expected.

Not quite worth the money...

I bought this expansion pack in hopes of "extending" the experience after polishing off the main game. I was disapointed with the pack because I was playing through the main game as a "Good Guy." I didn't want to be a pirate leader or a vampire. Also, I was getting pretty tired of fighting my way through endless dungeons! The other content didn't do much for me either. The final nail in the coffin of the pack was the vast amount of user mods and quests available online for FREE. For me, it wasn't worth the $20.00 extra dollars. Your mileage may vary...

Install Woes

I was unable to get this to install. Checking Bethesda's web site on the error number and message was an exercise in futility. The error was listed there indicating it was most commonly caused by not having administrator rights when installing and refers you to Installshields site which is totally useless. The account I was logged in as had administrator privileges. I also tried it logged in as administrator and still no luck. My system configuration is more than adequate to support this product.

Despite the hype, a letdown

I'm going to shock everyone. I don't like it. Why? The game doesn't save. I have trouble with all the different keys. Oh, and I keep getting killed.
I was really hoping to give it a good review, but atlas, I can't.

I'm special!

this consists not of one but serveral expansion mods(not a whole expansion pack though). The castle in the wintery north is yours for the taking(if you can get there) it's free and no quests or money involved. Why this is... Yore spaicial! it is a single player's dream you know to own a seat of power. "Orray mod" the Horse Amrour mod and such is an asthtitic enhancement supposedly increases the life points of your ride. NO you do NOT get to go to Skyrim or the Atavar(non-sense) no references to continets outside Tamrial but interesting lore on it! The dwarves are quite a hot item of history here(and will NEVER be a character in the games in ANY Elder Scrholls chronicled). The Knights of Nine is a classic RPG tale(very much in lacking these days, oddly enough) of arch-type Knights and such. the knight class was usualy out classed but now it has a purpose(you can also make your own or choose another). there is supposedly new dungeons and if you are a Nord, Redguard, or an Orc you will survive long enough to explore new areas about Cyradiil without reloading every five seconds. maybe get CLinton Greyn to play the male Nords in the next pack(who is that?-you ask.)

I was terribly disappointed because this particular product is an expansion pact and this was NOT clearly stated!! I bought it as a gift, expecting it to be the video game and ended up buying the expansion pact and was really really annoyed. if it's not the game, IT SHOULD BE CLEARLY STATED, right up front.

the rating is low, but who knows what the game is like?

Better than nothing

If you have not played the origional for a while it does take some time relearning the controls, etc. Playing with a character who has good equiptment and good stats makes this addition too easy. Some of the other mods mean you are wandering from point a to point b for a new residence.
