I have never played the sims before, but this game looks REALLY good! It is definetly worth 500 stars!

With the original game and the two expansion packs included, this is an excellent valyue for the money.

If you are new to The Sims, this is a great start - but be warned after playing even a little, you'll want to rush out and get the expansion packs so that your Sim's have even more things to see and do!

The Double Deluxe edition of The Sims comes with 2 expansion packs and other bonus stuff. I got this for a birthday gift. I am completely addicted to this game. There are so many options for building your house and for choosing your Sims characters. You have tons of neighborhoods to use as the canvas of your own little world! The combinations are endless and the game never gets boring!
I've played other Simulation and Tycoon games, but none of them compare to The Sims. This Double Deluxe set is all you need to become a major Sims player. If you were to buy The Sims, House Party, and Livin' Large all separate, it would be much more expensive than buying this one simple compelete set.
However, not everything is great. It takes about an hour or more to install (depending on your computer). Also, it takes a pretty long time to load each time you want to play, but it's worth it.

this is a very cool game.
my fave is the sims houseparty.
let me start by telling you about each expansion pack.
houseparty:really cool fleresent colors such as neon and bright orange.throw parties dance and such.
livin large:get your sims into weird situations
such as alien attacks and such.
double deluxe:NOTE SOME CONTENT NOT SUITABLE FOR kids 12 AND UNDER what i mean by that is like there is a cake and a stripper comes out of it but just like sims deluxe but more items and feautures.

This is the best game I have ever played! But one of the most addicting.I have played many sleepless nights. Livin Large is the best so dont wast your money on eny other expansion(Well maybe Makin Magic)

When i first found the sims it was in my dad's office.
I looked at it i was amazed:it was the present i was dreaming of for years and years and now i had it in my hands it was mine, all mine!!!I did'nt ask him for it but he just bought it like that but did i tell you that it was only the sims original(because you need the sims original,Deluxe,Double Deluxe or Sims 2 to make an expansion pack work.
So i became a BIG fan of sims and my first expansion pack that i had for my Birthday was:
The Sims: Double Deluxe
by Electronic Arts.

But i remind you to visit sims.com and Tripleeagle.net for a nice relaxed day!!!

Is the Sims Double Deluxe good for those who already have Livin' Large, House Party, and the Sims Deluxe?? I have the Sims Deluxe and want to upgrade to the Sims Double Deluxe but, is it worth it if I already have ALL the expansion packs?? Please help!!!

No it would not make any sense to buy this one if you already have house party and sims deluxe it is just the two put together. Save your mone and buy another expansion pack (or save up for the sims2). Hope that helped.

I bought The Sims, Livin' Large, and House Party and it cost me about $120! Wow, I can't believe you can buy it that cheap now. For those who don't have the Sims yet, get this. The Sims is one of the best games out there. No wonder there are so many Sim addicts.
