I got this game about a year ago and I LOVE it! You get to pick from over 50 different animals and then you get to personalize the exhibits. You can breed them if you want, too. Plus you can put different kinds of animals together like the zebras and the gazzelles. I LOVE this game!!! Buy it!!!!

this game is loads of fun The expansion pack is necissary too. There are many animals and real restaurants on line as well. If you like RCT you'll like this as well

i love this game. it very learing i learnd that if your going to own a zoo you gota have the animals in its write place. last week my friend put a bear in a polor bears place the bear got upset she moved him were he was soppose to be he was happy. i never new animals cared so much were they were at. if you like animals and want a great game to learn more and have fun with then buy this game it really is a good game i tell ya!

WOW!!! This game is totally awsome. There are so many things to do and see. So many animals to buy and take care of. A few of them are: lions, elephants, zebras, penguins, and polar bears! You can hire zoo keepers, tour guides, and more. Keep your guests happy with restaurants and other stands such as pizza stands, hamburger stands, ice cream stands, drink stands, and even gift stands! But that is not all. If you are looking for that perfect computer game, ZOO TYCOON'S THE ONE!!!!

I only have the demo version of this I use it every day. there isn't a whole lot to say about this exept it is the greatest game in the world.

I haven't spent much time with this program yet but it has excellent potential for kids and adults who need to see the value of planning ahead.
The graphics are nice and some of the instructions are funny, tongue in cheek stuff. All in all a good PC game if you have time to fiddle with it.

Zoo Tycoon - original version

This is a great game , a bit on the boring side after a while (5 days straight). You have a huge area of land and you need to transform it into a zoo. First you have to build some cages , bring in the right terrain for whichever animals you choose to put in the cages , bring in toys for the animals , asign a zoo keeper (optional) , asign a Tour guide (optional) , bring in some handymen , add some food and restroom stuff , build some entertainment houses for the guests and decorate of course. You have such a great variety of animals to choose from , lions from the savannah , tigers from the rain forests , bears from forests , crocs from saltwater territory , camels from the desert and so much more! Hope you choose to buy this game and have fun!

The whole family is hooked!

This is a great game for all ages. My daughter (the college student) loves it. My niece and nephew (ages 3 and 4) she plays till she gets bored, then he gets to delete the gates and watch all the animals run wild. I am embarassed to say it but I play almost every day.

If you are totally into animals and are 7-8 years old, you (and your parents) can spend hours playing this game. From playing preset scenarios to creating your own zoo from scratch, you'll have loads of fun. My daughter loves being in charge of each creating the right habitat for each animal she "adopts." She's had this game for 2 months and plays it whenever she can.
