This is an older game, but it is a lot of fun to play. It levels the character easily and provides well balanced challenges for the character.

hack 'n slash fun beyond Diablo II

I have to say that Sacred is one of the best action/RPG games out there. This is my favorite genre of games to play and I own many, many hack 'n slashers like this one,(including Diablo of course) and with the exception of Divine Divinity, this is my favorite one to play.I'm sure many people will think it is sacrilige to say this game is better than Diablo II but it really comes close. Especially now that this game is super cheap ('cause it's kind of old) it is a great value. Go out and buy this game, you won't regret it. (I would like to finish by saying Divine Divinity is THE best action/RPG, and it's only 10 bucks!!)

The game in itself is entertaining, however it did not come with CD keys, nor can they be found on the CD's, they are necessary to play in the multiplayer mode. I have written various emails to Ascaron, the makers of the game, in order to solve the problem, however help and/or solutions have been non-existent. Reccomendation: If you want to play multiplayer, look for a different game.

Sacred it a huge game...the maps go on and on and on and on (get the picture). Graphics are on par with Diablo 2 and plays about the same. I really enjoy game play and the many different avatars one can play, especially with the add on adding 2 more.

Abet it is a great game, it crashes--alot--,no tech support (I have emailed a number of times and have yet to have a reply), many quirks in the game, getting trapped in houses, caves, etc., unable to keep your horse as it disappears when you are playing, unable to complete quests by clicking on the person that wants you do do quests, in the same vein, unable to complete quests by getting the item(s) by clicking on it or using the 'a' key, must do the main quest in order in order to complete game, bad saving system--abet there is an autosave, you have to 'dig' around to find the one you are saving your avatar in or you can accidently save over other avatars you are currently playing--, and a few others that are nagging.

On the other hand, compaired to Diablo 2 and similiar games, leveling, finding set, magic, yellow or gold items, are not to bad. Set or green items, are hard to find, but nothing like D2!! There are a number of difficulties to play in and in each difficulty, more items drop that are very nice, indeedy!!!

I recommend this game for anyone that is a D2 fan and is looking for something similiar to play.

Sacred 2 is in current production as of this date Jan 10, 2007.

I was a Diablo addict for years. Now, I know this is an older game but it has some awesome graphics and the format is much more fun than Diablo. It's a little more than hack and slash, and there are some cool quests. It keeps me off the streets at night. My only criticism is that it sometimes hangs up and the program won't work on a new Sony laptop. Other than that, it's pretty solid.

While their games have great potential their attention to detail is terrible. Never buy a first edition game from them. Wait several months for them to work out the bugs. I am very computer literate and could not find a way to make early versions work on very standard setup PC's.

Sacred Gold is a great value and lots of fun

This game is exactly the kind of game I like to play. You can complete missions for a feeling of accomplishment and at the same time advance the larger mission and build up your character. Well worth the money.

This game is great for the RPG player. It is somewhat close to Diablo. If you like that you will like this!

I'm a big fan of Diablo 2, but I decided to give it up after 6 years. Sacred and Titan Quest are the closest things to it that I could find.
