Good Mindless Fun

4 Rating: 4, Useful: 3 / 5

This is a great game for all ages. Almost like pachinko for the computer. Lights, sounds, movement all combine to provide an enjoyable experience. In addition, a certain level of skill is required to move through the levels, so the game is more than just eye-candy. You'll catch yourself playing far longer than you intended to.

ADDICTIVE BOUNCING FUN!!!

This is the most successful cross between Patchinko and Pinball! It will have you laughing and shouting at the damn bouncing ball...

At every level there is a number of colored pegs that have to be hit in order to clear the level. They are amongst generic pegs that is OK to hit yet will hinder your access to the colored ones you have to clear - and you have only a limited number of shooting balls.
Every time you shoot a ball it gets used - unless you are lucky to fall into an oscillating bucket and gets recycled. There are also special pegs that give you special abilities for a limited time.
I am afraid I am not doing justice to the game - if it sounds complicated it is not. You pick it up in a minute and it is GREAT FUN!

This is a perfect example of what has come to be known as Casual Gaming. It would be a good idea to download the 60-min trial version from a site, such as REFLEXIVE (you can Google it), and decide for yourself whether this is indeed your cup of tea.

Anybody can make a good game that will run only on a super-computer. This is an example of pure programming genius!

HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!!

Peggle
Love this game. I am not much of a gamer and after a few minutes of playing this game, I became addicted. I played it straight through in one week and beat the game. Even after that, there are challenge levels to keep you entertained. You can email your best shots to your friends (this is my favorite feature). It's not everyday that you come across a game that is as exhilarating as Ode to Joy.

Love this game, hours of fun for everyone. It seems as though it is made for kids, but it is not. It is challenging and fun. You will enjoy the colorful pics and the background music.

Pachinko meets Operant Conditioning

It's amusing to see all the ways this game rewards you for doing well. Besides the spectacular display when you win a level you have all sorts of bonus poings for performing impressive feats and when you do something REALLY special a punk beaver pops up and praises you!

As others have noted Peggle is a pachinkoish puzzle game. I appreciate the untimed aspect of the game. If I want to spend 2 or 3 minutes lining up that PERFECT shot, no problem. Or just blaze away quickly and watch the pretty lights!

There's real depth to the game is you want to put the effort into it. Tricky ways to exploit the special powers or just extending a level by playing for free balls.

Just Plain Fun.

Great Family Game

My 10 year old daughter loves this game. Finally, a game she can play that doesn't have cats, dogs, or horses. She loves the unicorn and the colorful scenes. She is able to play this game alone or with a friend. This game has enough of a challenge to it for the younger ones without being so hard that advancing through the different levels is almost impossible. My 15 year old son likes how the game is played, but he's not impressed with the unicorn theme.

This is a casual game that gamers and non-gamers alike will find themselves playing way too much.

Woohoo we all like it, even our 4 yr old!

Granted, you may only be aiming a litle steel ball....but this game is loads of fun!! From the adults right down to the youngest of our 3 kiddos, we have all had a blast with this game.

Oh how I love Peggle, let me count the ways...

Peggle was one of those games I stumbled across because I was bored and didn't have anything else better to do. Now, I am making time for Peggle and playing it almost every chance I get! You shoot a little tiny bouncy ball into a whole mess of bricks where it bounces all over the place and earns points. The object is to clear out certain ones, and then you can advance to the next level. It sounds so simple but it is so much fun! Just watching that ball bounce and planning your next shot is great, and the graphics and the sounds are very good as well.

Try it out for yourself, and you won't be disappointed!

Quite possibly the most addictive game since Tetris...

Peggle is amazingly addictive, and will suck you in with its simple yet deep gameplay. At first I thought, okay, this is a modern-day remix of Arkanoid/Breakout/Pachinko, but Peggle is perfectly tuned: it makes you feel like a genius when you complete a level, yet is never so frustratingly hard that you quit in disgust. It's fun for 5 minutes or 5 hours, and has amazing, endless replay value. A little masterpiece of game design!
