well it might have the same plot, but still pretty damn good.its all around rayquaza though in this one.that kinda sucks cuz i wanted a sequel to do wit the latis.oh well.but i love the fact that they actually gave u a choice on latias or latios.oh and ray, gro, and ky are now all lvl.70.ray is at sky pillar all da time. gro will occor in,um ithink 6,yah probably 6 places called the terra cave.same thing with ky.except he is at the marine cave underwater. oh and now key to the regis.
rock=left left down down then use rock smash
ice=go inside then run around while touching the wall at all times
steel=go in da middle and use flash

oh and u have to check out the battle frontier and tents.the tents let u practice for the frontier.lol.

So far this is my favorite pokemon game yet, I haven't beaten it yet though. This game is good so far i just can't get through the second gym. When i played my friend's Emrald I got to Victory Road. I always choose Mudkip and I've caught 13 different speicies of pokemon.

Awesome new Addition to the Poke' Mon Family

I haven't played this game yet, but I'm sure going to buy it. Ruby and Sapphire were great, and a third addition to the Ruby/ Sapphire series seems like a great idea. It seems that the third in the series is always the best, with new battles and places to explore. After FireRed and LeafGreen, I'm sure that Poke'Mon will not let us down!!!!

Hours of fun.....

I think this game is great. I play it 24/7. (almost) and I recommend it to all pokemon fans. It has more features than Ruby/Sapphire, and Leafgeen/Firered. Here are a couple of examples:
Battle Frontier
Battle tent
Berry Crusher

Game is fun, but beware!

My kids love this game, however please be aware when you buy from a seller on Amazon. I received 2 different counterfeit games ~ Amazon has great customer service and I did get refunds however the sellers were not suspended. Only buy this game from Amazon direct so you can be sure you are getting the real deal!!

A solid continuation of a great franchise

The Pokemon franchise has long outlasted its fad status, and seems here to stay. Next to Mario, it's the best-selling video game franchise in history. There's a reason for that, and it's not the pikachu dolls people bought for their 10 year olds. The games that started it all are excellent role-playing games, and bring you into a fun and interesting setting with lots of choices.

Pokemon Emerald follows the same plot as the rest of the Pokemon games. You start as a rookie trainer, and eventually work your way up to the Pokemon League champion. On the way, you manage to save the world from the incursions of a team (two teams, in this case) that seeks to use pokemon for their own advantage. The plot is simple but fun. The battle system is engaging, but the real appeal is the pokemon themselves. You can catch them, trade them, and battle them. Additionally, you can enter them in contests, feed and care for them, and breed them. You can only carry six at a time, so there's a lot of thought put into building a team, teaching them moves, and so on. You can have hours of fun just exploring the wilds and entering pokemon into contests, regardless of whether you want to actually battle them or carry through the game's plot.

Pokemon Emerald has all the strengths of its predecessors, and adds some new features to boot. It also has the franchise's drawbacks. The plot is predictable to those who have played the game before, and risks becoming stale at times. The amount of battling can become repetitive later in the game, especially when you're in a cave and you have to deal with wandering pokemon every few steps. These flaws are easy enough to ignore if you're interested by the gameplay, though, and that gameplay stands up well in comparison to most CRPGs out there today. Overall, Pokemon Emerald isn't anything new for the franchise, but it does continue a tradition of good games that carry the Pokemon brand name.

Electronic marbles

In the "dark ages" we use to play marbles (alleys) and we would all do battle and different marbles could do different things. This is just an electronic version of it. No more lost marbles or torn marble bags. Get with the times Dad.
