THIS GAME IS THE WORST!

this game (even for me, a Digimon fan) is a VERY bad game. there is only ONE secret stage, in which there is NO TERRAIN! ITS JUST A BLACK SCREEN W/PATTERNED BACKGROUND THAT LOOKS MORE LIKE A SCREENSAVER! also, most secret characters are just Digivolved forms of the rookies! graphics are horrible, music doesnt even grasp your attention, and mini games are no good. there virtually all the same thing and the AI in the mini games is like a headless chicken! also, the game is VERY SHORT. i beat it in less than 2 hours the day i got it, and an hour and 30 min. when i restarted the game.
but perhaps the worst thing of all is tht each character has only 2 SPECIAL MOVES! AN O BUTTON AND A TRIANGLE BUTTON! THERE ARENT EVEN VARIATIONS OF THE MOVES EXCEPT FOR MELEE ATTACKS!

so if u REALLY want to get a Digimon game, i would suggest Digimon World 1 or Digimon World 3 but NOT this game.

Just plain pathetic

Personally, I found the game to be utter garbage. I have seen better graphics in many PSX games, such as Final Fantasy 7 8 and 9, Mega Man Legends 2, Tekken 3, Marval Vs Capcom, and Fatal Fury Wild Ambition. The game is similar to Lugi's Mansion, where it has a little entertainment value, but ABSOLUTELY NO replay value. The television voices aren't a plus, as the show is awful. The American dub is way off, and the voices make me cringe. Trust me, and stay clear away from this excuse for a bad playstation game.

this is a very fun game, but it does have a few problems. the voice acting is of low quality and the rest of the game cannot make up that fact. oh and the instructions could be a bit more helpful. though, those are like the only things wrong with this game so it is still worth buying, in my opinion. yet, not everyone can truly enjoy this game so i recommend it to digimon fans. lastly, when you go to options there is an option called "input password" where you can type passwords to get characters and i happen to know a few passwords: KIMJOY, LINMON, ROYBOY, MINNYN, SERIUS, KENSAN & QRIOUS.

It's Okay

Digimon Rumble Arena is a decent game for Digimon fans. I'd recommend it toward people who are Digimon fans because in other words it might not be a good game. The choices of which Digimon you can fight with are exceptional. There are the six secret Digimon Omnimon, Beelzemon Blast Mode, Impmon, Imperialdramon Paladin Mode, Reapermon, and BlackWarGreymon. I found the easiest rookie to fight with as Renamon who is probably the fasest rookie and her Diamond Storm is good for getting combos. Now the game overall is good but the arenas get slightly dull after a while and if you are used to the PS2 then the graphics are kinda off. The voices are done poorly but they are the same as the anime save for Takato (who sounds like Ash in Pokemon) Fighting the PS will get dull but if you have two controls and a sibling who's willing to play, it's a great game. That is if that sibling's a good player. OVerall, it's a decent and likable game though you can finish it in about one hour unless you are a very poor player.

super fun .....then boring

It was really fun at first but when you beat it a couple times it is dead boring. If you want a game that will last long and you are over 6 than look somwhere else. A 5 year old toddler would probably play until their parents told them to play outside. HAPPY HUNTING!

A fun Game You'll want to play agian and agian.

A very fun game you'll enjoy. You can play 1 player mode and 2 player mode. You get to pick your favorite digimon from seasons
1-3.you can pick Augumon,Gabumon,Patamon,Terriermon,Guilmon,
Renemon,Wormmon,Veemon and Gatomon. To get more digimon you have to uncover them in the one player mode. When you do you'll end up uncovering Reapermon,Blackwargreymon,Omnimon,Impmon and Imperialdramon palid mode. You can also Digivolve into your mega Form By pushing the R1 button. You get MetalGarurumon, Wargreymon,Seraphimon,Mega Gargomon,Gallantmon,Sakuyamon,
Imperialdramon,Magnadramon and Beelzemon. You can also get Champion digimon Stingmon.I like to fight with Guilmon and Impmon because they digivolve into strong Mega digimon. The game even has cool mini games like a digivolving race that after a While your thumb might hurt for pushing the button too many times.A Basketball mini game and a target race. For a Play Station game it's Fun Espicially if you like digimon.

This game has the qualities that Mario Kart and Super Smash Bros presents. This video game is based on the serries that has even surpassed Pokemon at some times. Has charcaters from all three seasons such as Tai + Agumon and Matt + Gabumon from 01, Davis + Veemon, TK + Patamon, Kari + Gatomon, and Ken + Wormmon from season 02, and the traditional 3 from Digimon Tamers, Takatomon + Guilmon, Henry + Terriermon, and Rika + Renamon. There all also hidden cahracters to find.
I particulary like to Play as Sakuyamon and Beelzamon, but digimon like Metal-Garurumon and War-Greymon, have a pretty nice charm.
Pretty easy game to conquer (perhaps to easy for some) but this game will grab the secret desires of digimon fans everywhere.

An interesting combo

Digimon Rumble Arena is a game in which you can be a Digimon from seasons 1-3, and you get to harness their special abilities, such as digivolving and special attacks. The pros about this game are that the controls are user friendly and easy to pick up, the voices are pretty close to the TV show, except for a few people, and there are secret characters. Unfortunetly, there's only one secret level, very few secret characters(Although as you beat the game with certain digimon, you get their digivolved form in 2-player mode) and the secrets are VERY easy to get. All in all, this is a good game to keep from being bored for a while, but unless you play 2-player all the time, it gets old pretty quick.

Lots of fun for Digimon fans

Easy to learn and lots of fun! Characters include Agumon, Gabumon, Patamon, Gatomon, Wormmon, Veemon, Guilmon, Terriermon, and Renamon, with Impmon as a secret character. Most of the secret characters are simply mega versions of the rookie digimon, but there are some very cool surprises...you'll just have to find out for yourself. ;) This game is somewhat similar to Super Smash Bros in style. Multiplayer action, though limited to 2 players, is quite entertaining. To make things more interesting, each Digimon is assigned an elemental type (earth-fire-water), and each type is strong against one and weak against the other. Sort of like a game of rock-paper-scissors, and a lot like Pokemon. I give this game only 4 stars because I really dislike a lot of the English VA's. I wish the option of a Japanese game mode could've been included, but ah well...it's still a fun game.

Not a Super Smash Bros. Melee Clone

I own this game and love it, despite the fact it's sort of like Super Smash Bros. Melee but, not really a copy of it or, anything. Well it is not as cool as Super Smash Bros. Melee or, even the original Super Smash Bros. I still think it's great! The only thing I really don't like is that Takato has a voice actor different than the one in the TV show. But other than I like it a lot.
