Another GREAT Megaman game!!!!!

... This game is very fun, believe me. Sure it dosen't have Zero, wall-climbing or other Megaman X characteristics but who cares! I still love it because what I love about Megaman games is that it is a game where you simply shoot, dodge and gain enemies abilities! Don't get me wrong, I love the Megaman X games idea to wall-climb but it really isin't THAT necesary. And about Zero, sure he a cool character but he wouldn't look good in normal Megaman games. So If you like Megaman action and would like to take a break from the dark story of Megaman X games then by all means pick this game up. It is a fun game that unfourtunatley takes about 3-10 hours to beat entireliy but keeps you entertained the whole time. (By the way, I also suggest Megaman X4-X6, they're GREAT too!!!)

I wish capcom would have put much effort in Mega Man 8 as they did Mega man 7. But this is still a fun game with all the aime cut scenes.

It's a shame the scale doesn't get more than 5 stars, 'cuz this one deserved more! At first I was skeptical (Oh, a new Mega Man game... yawn) but I played it,and I am now an even happier Mega-Fan. This game stays true to the old-school formula that made Mega Man a hit, and adds lots more good stuff. I love the character personalities (especially the bosses),the upgrading of Mega Man,and like what Downey, CA said - no extreme violence or gore - just good ol' anime-powered-action-mixed with-classic videogame nostalgia. IF YOU MISS THE MEGA MAN OF THE PAST, THIS IS YOUR GAME, PEOPLE!!!An excellent game for enjoying a blast from the past.

A classic and fun traditional Mega Man Game, though I think I heard from someone it's a PS approximation of Mega Man and Bass (now available on GBA! Really good too!) without Bass (Forte) but despite that, its great. Also, it's worth a look because a: the voice acting is HILARIOUS, and b: the theme song is pretty good, and c: it's just a really fun Mega Man game.

Though even to this day, when my sister and I fight we are heard to say "I'm Frost Man. I'll crush you. I'll make a popsicle out of you!"

Anyone who was a fan to the old Nintendo Megaman series will enjoy this game.
Just as in the old games, you get to battle eight enemies and in the end, beat them again in Wily tower and defeat the two stages of doctor Wily.
Unfortunately, there are some some cons:
you don't get to use rushjet when you want to and the other rush powers are kinda stupid, and the voices on this game are reallly wimpy.
Power ups are limited, so you should choose carefully.
Pros:
Good graphics and challanging levels. You won't beat this game without continuing a few times.
You can get power ups when you get enough bolts to buy one.
There are new enemies. Always a plus.
New and interesting plot.
Memory card, so you don't have to write down passwords.

All in all, it's a great game. Definately worth buying.

The megaman 8 game has awesome originals such aas doc. willy.
it has decent graphics and is overall a blast. megaman could stand to have a bit more powerfull attacks though.
