Another fun Time Crisis game.
There aren't a whole lot of actual gun games anymore,
but this is one of the better ones.
I recommend it.

Project Titan Evolved to be better then the first one, and Never hit the Arcade Arena!

I don't know what these other reviewers are talking about. I recently purchased this game, and it is "awesome!" I use my Playstation 2 Light Gun and it works great, and I only had to calibrate the gun once. That reviewer that said they had to calibrate their Guncon every 15secs, well that must mean your gun is not working properly, or your just a seriously crappy aimer! There are some guys on the edge of the screen in the distance that are sometimes hard to shoot directly, but just unload on them and eventually the gun will hit them. I love the new sequencing where you have the option to switch sides from left to right on one of the first "BOSS LEVELS", thats cool and really challenging too. Namco has made another great Time Crisis game, and its funny becuase not many people know about this game, and indeed it is worthy of the Time Crisis collection. There was one reviewer on here that said the graphics are horrid. Well, if you compare the first TIME CRISIS game to this one that is released in 2001 compared to the first one that was released in 1996 onto the Playstation, I would definately say they have improved on the graphics majorly since the first one, Buddy. The characters look better and smoother, and they move more like humans too, and fall better.

The story is kinda short, and I have not beaten or played all the way through to see if any hidden secrets get unlocked or if there is a hidden missions, but I am very pleased with this game, and I highly recommend picking this copy up for your PS-One, Playstation, and PS-2, PS-3.

Its a great game and fun as hell!

Thanks for reading

Fun game, but horrid graphics

The graphics in this game are downright terrible for a 5th year PS1 game. Also, with there being only one campaign on this game (as opposed to 2 campaigns in Time Crisis 1 for the PS1) I expected it to be more polished. The frantic action that's signature of the Time Crisis series is still there though. The game's also hard to complete with only 3 continues and 3 lives per continue.

A let down for the hardcore.

I tracked down this game after searching for years. Let me tell you, I love Time Crisis. I love the whole serires, have them all, love them all, but I didn't have this one yet. So I finally got it, put it in my PSone and played away. First, the game wasn't made by Namco (makers of the Time Crisis series) they just published it). The game consists of horrible animation with horrible graphics. "Stiff" is the best way to describe everything. You can tell Namco didn't have much to do with this because it is a Time Crisis game IN NAME ONLY. The flow and look of the game is horrid. The game is also buggy. There will be times when you will shoot a guy, hear him die, and apparently his ghost will shoot you out of vengeance. But on the plus side, the sound is good. That's really all I have to say good for this game.

If you have a hard time finding this game it's no surprise. The game is just bad through and through. The graphics are sub-par for this generation of Playstation game, the game has bugs, and the developers really didn't know what they were doing. This has the Time Crisis name but not the feel and one tenth of the fun. A big disappointment.

Question

Can I use a GUNCON2 with this game?
I expect this game would be good but I've only played Time Crisis games on PS2 with a GUNCON2. Definately get Time Crisis 2 & 3 for PS2. They are the best games that you can use a GUNCON2 with. They're short(like all GUNCON2 games)but fun. Time Crisis 2 & 3 also have a bunch of extra modes to make them last longer.

Suggestion to the designers of this game: make a long GUNCON2 game!

time crisis project oh yeah!

this is da bomb. better than time crisis 1. it's 50 times better with a guncon. if you want one get a namco guncon. the naki guncon is as accurate as a drunk monkey with an itchy trigger finger. a must buy for time crisis lovers.

This is a shooter game, where you go through the levels, and do nothing but shoot. This can become boring after a while. I wouldn't recommend this game for people who get bored easily. This game can also be frustrating, because if you have a GUNCON like me, you have to stop the game and realign the sight every 15 seconds. Graphics could be better...but, we are talking Playstation. Overall, the perfect game for a rainy day.

If you buy this game, I would recommend a GUNCON.(The "gun" thing you can find in arcades.) For me, this makes the game more interesting, but, suit yourself.

PLAYS LIKE TIME CRISIS BUT IT FEELS LIKE SOMETHING IS WRONG SOMEWHERE. Not really a sequel but more of a sidestory. This game never appeared in arcades. I only recommend this title to the people that owns both Time Crisis 1 & 2. The same trademark duck n' shoot style gameplay. Graphics are decent. Extras? This game has no extras like the other two, the only one being a time attack mode. Now people let me tell you I'm a very serious and dedicated gamer so naturally of course I beat it, but I only beat it once. This game is very difficult and I must say to you to pass on it if you never played a Time Crisis title before. If you seriously can't refrain from buying this game and you don't listen to me and can't hold out, at least do yourself a favor and purchase the one that includes a Guncon. Playing this game with a standard controller is a absolute no-no. Check your local software store to purchase a copy with the gun ..., dishing out anymore money than this means you are being cheated. ...

Namco has made several good games like Pac-Man and the Time Crisis seres for the arcade and home system. But, Time Crisis: Project Titan is the best of all games. Gamespot gave it a 6.4 out of ten but Its rateing was mostly high because of the fun of the GunCon and the graphics. The GunCon is a controller that you point at the screen and you shoot men. This game controler is very real looking and I would like to state that Namco says not to point it at anybody and not to bring it outside. Also to not modify or paint the toy in anyway. Anyway, this game is great fun and even though the game goes quick, your going to want to play it over and over again. Also there are a few differant modes you can play that are fun.
