Why don't you mention that this is an expansion pack?

I bought this game as a pre-order and I checked, even more then once, that it doesn't say anywhere on the Amazon site that this is an add-on (expansion pack) and that it requires the Delta Force Black Hawk Down.
Now, after waiting for so long, I realize that I have nothing to do with this game without the previous one...

I think that it's not fair and that it is amazon's responsibility to provide me with this information before I'm buying...

wont load

Bought this to play, well its been 2 weeks & it wont load,, I should have known, I have all major shooter games from Max Payne to all MOH. Support doesn't help.
O well thats really the last time i purchase a second rate software company product. Looks like i'll wait for battlefield vietnam & MOH pearl harbor. I'll use this CD ROM as a mirror. Novalogic, your amateurs, get a real job !

DOES NOT WORK

I have tried nine times in a row to get this thing to install correctly. Once again, Novalogic makes it impossible to just click and install. Graphics? Don't know! Sound? No idea! I'm a huge fan of the series. I have purchased every single Delta Force game they've made. But come on! I have typed in this insidiously stupid product code nine times! Nine times! I even had to type it in again to register it, because the programmers were too lazy to build a copy/paste into the carry-over screen. I'm an 8 year veteran of the real special forces. I don't think my training was this hard. (Just kidding on that last one: It was much harder.) Please, customer service of Novalogic, please return my e-mails to tell me what I'm doing wrong.

Too Short.

Great Game, but I only gave it 3 stars since the game was way to short. I finished this game in two days, about 4 hours. If you are into Mutiplayer, you will probably get a lot more play time from the game.

Other than the game being short, I didn't find anything wrong and it was a lot of fun while it lasted.

Okay game

I don't play the signle player missions for this game so I can't tell you if it is a good signle play mission game or not. The only diffrence between Team Sabre and the regular Black Hawk Down game is that in Team Sabre there are new weapons and skins and maps. Online the game is better, it still has that invisible sniper problem but the lounge is much better. The awards are more detailed with better pictures of it. I recommend this game to anyone who wants to try new weapons to Blawk Hawk Down or wants new signle player Missions.

Good FPS - It is still one of the best. It is old but online gaming with your friends is the best. Many people still play this game online - they form squads or clans and develop websites and have their own game server and also voice servers. There are many servers and types of gameplay to choose from. Its a great social game; one that I have made many new friends from all over the world! I enjoy every aspect of this game except 2 things: 1. Internet connections can cause some irritating results while battling it out. 2. Cheats... you know, game hackers. They can ruin a game in a heart beat (flying, no dying, teleporting, xray vision, aimbot etc.) Most servers and squads have resorted to using "watching" tools, filming and overall policing their servers to ban these folks.

All in all, this is one game that has lasted and is still a strong team game. I still enjoy playing with my team mates - my friends..

Very good expansion - Poor / Confusing installation

This is a good expansion pack to a great game. The game will give you at least several hours (and possibly quite a bit more) of quality entertainment. For $20, that's a pretty good value. The game makes some improvements over the original, which is nice. The new missions and gear are all very well done additions. Installation and instructions are poor, however. Once you install and update the game, you must use the original BHD disk for gameplay. The directions don't mention this important fact. Illogical, confusing, but not a deal-breaker.

Fun with some glitches

TEAM SABRE is overall a pretty good game. There are however some glitches. The enemy AI is still dumb. Most of the time they just stand there shooting. Even if you waste everyone around an enemy, he'll just keep firing at you. The game compensates for it by throwing a lot of enemies at you. On one level, the summary indicated that my team and I had killed nearly 400 of them! Friendly AI is not great either. Your teammates will often get stuck, sometimes to the point that they can no longer follow you or your commands. Also, I have seen teammates refuse to budge from an item that you have to blow up (thus killing the teammate) in order to progress in the mission. Also, I have seen teammates stand in front of a mounted machine gun which you must use to mow down advancing enemies. Still it is a worthy expansion pack. The graphics are noteworthy. Explosions are very realistic, and the animations of various vehicles, including helicopters, is great. I especially enjoy fighting off the enemy vehicles which attack you in most missions. If you have a subwoofer, there is a nice rumbling sound to the explosions and music. Some gamers have had trouble insalling the game. Remember, you must use the original BLACK HAWK DOWN disc to play TEAM SABRE, and it must be in the same drive as always to play or else the game won't recognize it. All in all, TEAM SABRE is fun, esp. if you enjoyed the other DELTA FORCE games.

Good game, Very hard install

People are right, if you get through the install its a fun game. It took me a few weeks of trial&error and calls and emails to novalogic...they finally emailed me back with helpful info. I had to uninstll the original BHD and BHDteam sabre then reinstall both CDs. Some installation pointer: 1)after you install team sabre cd you must insert original BHD cd to play Not the team sabre cd 2)if you want to uninstll team sabre you must uninstall both team sabre and the original BHD then reinstall the original BHD cd. Yes this unfortunately deletes all saved games. People should go to the novalogic web site for step by step install instructions. Dont forget to update the game once you finish install. At last you get new weapons, new vehicles and new missions in columbia and iran. Its fun playing now but sure was a pain to install. Hope this helps.

More Complexity too BHD.

This addon adds quite a bit more complexity too the original Black Hawk Down game, and is well worth the money if you really like the Black Hawk Down game from Novalogic. The enemy seems almost too good at times, they can see you when you can't see them in the dark. Even with nvg's on! Their RPG'ers are always accurate and if you let one get a shot off, the mission is over.
