Great game, spectacular visually, but sometimes lacking.

This is every Star Wars fan's dream. The game puts you in the cockpit of any of your favorite ships from the Star Wars Galaxy. These include the A-Wing, the Y-Wing, and of course, the X-Wing. This is also one of the first games of it's kind that lets you play as Luke (finally!). However, sometimes the levels can be long and tedious, especially the ones with the ATSTs on the ground. Sometimes there aren't enough baddies. It's definitely worth it, though. END

Classic, arcade fun by way of the Star Wars universe!

This much anticipated Star Wars game has taken the fun, Battle of Hoth elements on Nintendo 64's "Shadows of the Empire" & woven them into an exciting arcade shooter which takes place over the terrain of several planets. Don't have time for serious, time-consuming role playing games? Pull this one out of the box & you'll soon be hearing Obi-Wan in your mind telling you to "Use the Force". A wide assortment of ships (X-Wing, Y-Wing, A-wing, Air Speeder, etc.), different levels of play (ground & air targets), & diverse missions (search & destroy, escort, defend) make game play interesting for children & adults alike. I recommend using a joystick or Sony PS type controller. Harpoons & tow cables are difficult with a mouse & keyboard. All in all, it should help ease the anticipation for Episode One. END

This game is an orgasm for the senses!!!

The graphics are supurb. You get to fly with all your favorite rebels from the movie. If you liked the 1st level of Shadows of the Empire, and wished there were more levels like it, then this is the game for you! JUST REMEMBER: You need a good 3D graphics card to handle the game. END

This game is very good and I think you should get it.

I think this game is pretty good. I saw screen shots from Nintendo Power and it think the graphics are very good, and when you fly away the music calms. When you get close to the action the music begins to go with the action. END

This game will please any "Star Wars" kid in your family

It's a competent all around flying game...it's an elaborate, well designed extension or sequel to the Shadows of the Empire game on N64. I highly recommend using the 4mb upgrade pack...it's expensive but well worth the upgrade. END

Awesome Game

Star Wars: Rogue Squadron is one of the best flight games I've ever played. Unlike Star Fox and other such predecesors, Rogue Squadron allows full 360 degree movement on all three axis. With plenty of air, and ground enemies. All the old ships, and the new V-wing, an fast vehicle for tight dog-fights. New weapons will excite veterens. Plenty of levels provide for many hours of fun-filled game-play. A definite buy. END

Rogue Squadron, the best of it's kind

the new star wars game, rogue squadron, is probably one of the best games I have played in a while. There is non-stop action, whether you're battling grounded imperial walkers, or chasing TIE fighters high in the sky. Rogue Squadron makes the perfect gift for any occasion. END

A must have game. Even if your not a fan.

Excellent graphics and audio on N64. Can be challenging at times but eventually successful in all missions. The game becomes tougher the more missions you accomplish. You can go back to previous missions, but you can not go forward to the next, until you complete the previous ones. Some eye strain and G-force dizziness may occur over excessive playing time. Still, it a great game and long overdue from the Star Wars LucasArts etc. Try it you'll love it. END
