Well I ordered this game as a Christmas present and the game was never delevered. I had no luck tracking the down the package, and a even harder time getting though to Amazon. So I can't review the game and have a even worse review for Amazon.

it's fun, exiting and the graphic is next gen. at first the game started hard, but after that you get the hang of it.

Fun but needs improvement

I thought this game was going to be more rebellious from the other splinter cell games and give the player more freedom and not focus on the stealth and sneak tactics. I thought you would be able to use your gun and weapons more. To much of my surprise its the same as every other SC game, sneaking, cracking safes, hacking etc. You can't pick up enemy weapons which is frustrating when you have no weapons or no ammo. Graphics are pretty good cut scene animations are fuzzy and need work. Theres very little direction in to how you use equipment especially if your a first time player and thought the tutorial was useless.

Great but could be better.

Enjoyed the game like the straight missions better than the double agents gigs.

A disappointed Clancy fan...

Let me begin, by stating that I am a fan of most things with Tom's name on them. I have enjoyed most of the Rainbow 6 and Ghost recon games. I also enjoyed the original Splinter Cell game. I tried this one, because it was on the 360 (vs the pc where I played the previous splinter cell games). The graphics were well done and some of the games moments were well done. That said, the whole thing felt a little too much like a puzzle. Sneaking around to avoid guards, unable to use a weapon, occupied way too much of the game for my liking. The choices added little to the overall enjoyment of the game. The gadgets, as always, are fun. So, if you like puzzles or aren't bothered by repeated attempts to sneak by guards in the name of fun, you make like the game. If you would rather keep moving and keep shooting, try Rainbow 6, Las Vegas...

Same game, but not really

God, I love Ubisoft ... how do they keep doing it?

I think what I love most about this version of the game for Xbox 360 is that while you're in the same locations as the Xbox v1.0 version, the game play is completely different ... it's as though Ubisoft created two different games.

Can't quite give it 5 stars, though, because some of the game play is a pain (like building the bombs in the second visit to the JBA's headquarters ... much more difficult than it had to be) and the story is OK at best.

Still, this latest chapter in the Splinter Cell franchise is a welcome addition.

Can't wait for the next chapter, Conviction.

Addictive Game

This game is excellent! i'ts quite short if you played older splinter cell games, but the experience is sweet! The story is very original and the gameplay amazing. The multiplayer is excellent, i never played a game so addictive!!!

Great game. Could have been made even better.

As my title suggests, this game is undoubtedly a great deal of fun and a must buy, however I think a few aspects of it could be tweaked to make it probably one of the best console games out there.

I am not too happy with the new stealth system which is based on colors, and actually seems a downgrade from the old system. A combination of colors with the old system would be great.
The story line is great, but I am a big fan of in game videos... however double agent seems to be lacking in that aspect.

The new ways of killing your enemies such as through the ice are a great addition, but what I would really like in the next Splinter cell is the introduction of more weapons or new ways to take out your enemies like syringes, poisoning drinks, etc.

Lastly, how about playing with the idea of a co-op game... it just adds a whole new element. Just look at Gears of War...

Must Buy!

I own Splinter Cell: Double Agent for my 360 and I love it. The voice acting is awesome, the music was really well made to fit the game, and the action is great. It's one of my favirote games for the 360 and I also think it's one of the best games out there. The best Splinter Cell game so far.
