Massive problems

My son got this game for the holidays and we have had nothing but problems with it. This relates to the Backyard Soccer 2004 edition. It will not even play on my son's machine which is so far ahead of the minimum requirements it is ridiculous. Tech support has been horrible as all they keep saying is to reinstall video and sound drivers. They are also big fans of changing the monitor settings. I was able to get the game to work on a different machine, but even on that machine the game would suffer fatal crashes. I'm awaiting yet another e-mail from tech support. I have requested information about returning the game or exchanging it for another. If they tell me they I have to return it to the store I will go beserk as it was a gift from family in Florida and everyone knows how easy it is to return opened software

GOt this for my 11 year old for Christmas. He has the other titles in this series: Backyard Baseball, Backyard Soccer and Backyard Football. He loves this one and plays it often.

I gave Backyard Baseball 2003 a 5\5 stars grade because it's easy to play,you can pick your team and best of all there are made up backyard kids of different skill levels and to add to that there are kid versions of Major League Baseball players based on their actual skills. Each player has skills based on a scale from 1 to ten on batting,running ,pitching,and fielding.It's sad that there's no more Tony Gwynn,Mark McGwire,or Cal Ripken Jr but I understand because they're all retired. I think this game is better than High Heat 2003. I would rate HH2003 3/5 stars because it's hard to play and the Minor League players aren't even real. I highly recommend this game over HH2003. I also recommend this game for any sports fan!

I think that this game is fun no matter how old you are. It's challages you, but it's not too hard that it makes you want to quit. It has great features, like playing with the pro's, so it's a very good buy.

We can all agree that BYB'01 was better than the origanil BYB. So that made BYB'01 the best BYB game, UNTILL NOW. BYB'03 has taken this race away and is not going to give it up. Returning pros such as Sosa, Jeter, Giambi, Griffey, and Piazza lead the pro list followed by newcommers such as Hudsen, Radke, Pujols and Rollins. This is a great thing and the only flaw is the voices of announcers Sunny Day and Vinny Da GOuch, who new voices are only different by Vinnys New York accent. but this game is a must have for anybody who likes the BY series

My 11 and 6 year old both love this game. We had the old one but it kept closing down on the computer. This one doesn't have that problem. They just love having a major league player on the team as well. Keeps them happy and busy, so I have to limit their time playing.

Fun like all the other Backyard Baseballs but if you already have Backyard Baseball 2002 then I would say dont get it unless you are a complete fan. On the flip side there are some fun new charcters the voices are good and the gameplay can get frustrating but still fun.

I love this game for many reasons. I love the power of certain baseball players like Sammy Sosa. Also I love the new speed of Ichiro on the basepaths. The 4 new fields are spectacular. Players such as mike Piazza make this game lots of fun. Chipper Jones is great for 3rd base or even now outfield. Finally I must say " This really is the World's Greatest Game!!"
