I can not open this on either one of my computers and I am still waiting for tech support to call me back

Screens not as pictured and poor product support

The screens are not as pictured. We were unable to see cases being opened or our case at the end - this appeared to be a defect so we exchanged with Amazon (who has GREAT customer service). I had already sent an e-mail to the technical support site listed in the literature and got NO response whatsoever. The replaced software had the same problem. This time I e-mailed CatDaddy games through a link provided on the game itself and again got NO response whatsoever. So now this is being returned for credit.

Good Game if you like the show!

Got this game for my 13 yer old and it was fun the first couple of times we played....think it has hit the "bottom of the pile" status pretty quickly. It was fun while it lasted.

You have to use the CD to play this game

With all these reviews, I'm surprised that nobody said that you have to insert the CD in order to play this game - really annoying. I don't like having to use the original CD - too many chances for scratches, fingerprints, etc. I read all the reviews before putting it on my wish list, and I am really sorry I didn't know this.

The game itself is nice, but drags because if you play the 5 game challenge, you have to hear all the same phrases over and over again. But once you are playing, it's really breath-catching when you have to make those choices. If you didn't need to use the CD all the time, it would gain a couple of stars, for sure.

If you like the Tv show, you will enjoy this game. It has an interactive Howie Mandel that will talk to you as if you was on the show. I highly recommend this game

Making A Good Deal

These days, game shows seem to be coming back into prime time television. With thanks to shows like Game Show Marathon, The Price Is Right's Million Dollar Spectactualrs on CBS, and 1 VS. 100 starring Bob Saget, the return of prime time quiz shows hasn't been this exciting since Who Wants To Be A Millionaire with Regis Philbin several years ago on ABC. Now, that is all thanks to Deal Or No Deal with Howie Mandel. The show has been a real rating blockbuster, and has truly redefined the way game shows appeal to everyone, which is a real treat for those who've just drowned out of reality shows like American Idol, and Survivor. Now, there is one that comes straight for your computer, and is this a really good deal?

Deal Or No Deal, brings out all the action from the hit NBC quiz show onto the P.C. The game brings out all the gameplay with the game just like the show. The object is to choose a briefcase from 1 to 26, trying to give up the case. or going all way with each offer, hoping to win $1,000,000. The graphics are absolutely beautiful from the virtual models, to the look of placing Howie into a virtual edition of himself. Aside from the regular game itself, you can also play a custom made version, where you're playing for specialty versions of the game. There is only one disadvantage with the game, is that only virtual models are used carrying the cases, rather than the actual models from the game show.

All in all, there are many editions of Deal Or No Deal as a home game, and I definitely recommend the one for your computer. If you have a Windows XP computer, than you're really ready for the big deal from the banker. Otherwise, you can open any big cases at all, and that is unfortunately means, no deal, Howie!

If you like the tv show you will like this game.
It's easy enough for the little ones to play, but
enough fun that the adults like it too.

Game is just like if you were on TV and playing it.
