E:ROTMK is a great conquest and city builder game. Unfortunately, when I installed MS SP2, the game quits working. Well, not the entire game. The game will still funtion but you can't download the patch or the extra stuff so you are pretty much stuck with a game with all the bugs. I did enjoy playing it however and am planning on buying Ceasar 4 and probably Children of the Nile.

If u are a fan of the sims or reality games this game goes way up above this and the graphics are preety good. Also if you are looking for a challenge this is the kind of game you want. There are others like pharaoh and ceser also zeus but this is this game involes more fun than the others,GREAT GAME.

If you like city building this is a great game. Like Pharaoh this is not a game for thrills and chills and the combat is kind of lame, regardless of what they hype. But getting the people to move in is fun with lots of interrelated factors. The political aspect is nice, not too complicated but interesting enough and rational.

I love this game.....it is so addictive....in fact, this is my second time purchasing it because a friend of mine played it once and begged for the CD-ROM. It's a great game to break the monotany of the office. Kudos....Sierra!!!!!!

As a Native Speaker of Chinese and as a Chinese Myself, I am confident to say
that "-"(Chinese characters meaning China) means Central Kingdom not "Middle Kingdom"

This is a terrific game though very hard. I personally have just beaten it and it took me nearly a year. It is a great game for kids who liked the games Sim city. the main difference from it is that it is in china.... in B.C..... and you can create armies but the basic idea is the same. The game is full of challenges and it never really gets boring. The graphics are great. It is challenging because you only have so much money and you have to do so much with it. The only way to win that game is to heavily leavy taxes and keep your unemployment down. Well to sum it up this is a terrifc game

I liked the evolvement part of City Building, but after playing for hours, I get bored because the aspect of adventure and war gaming is not there. Can't expect to be a best game, but it will only last one / two round of play.

As usual the folks at Sierra have created a very insightful, yet fun, look at the development of ancient China. I found it very enjoyable and interesting at how to grow this very ancient civilization. As it is a game, there are good elements of fun including the various characters and how they react to varying conditions. Some of their comments are just too much! I definitely recommend this.

Though the intro takes a while to load thats probably the worst part. After all it could be worse. The graphics are ok but somtimes the music can get on your nerves after a while. The online play addition from the other City Builder Titles is a bonus too.
