Come on, I know Nintendo can do better than that!

This game stunk in almost everything, from graphics to sound to gameplay to controls. It was too hard to play due to the fact that the graphics were too poor. It was too difficult to see if there were any secret entrances. Plus the controls weren't great either. It was a little difficult to control DK. This game was good when i first bought it, but than got boring to the point that i ended up selling it. I regret the day i ever brought this game.I'd rather buy DK Country 1 than this piece of junk. In my opinion, this was the worst Donkey Kong game ever made.

pretty horrible

I'm a big Donkey Kong Country fan, but this game makes me absolutely sick to my stomach. The graphics are horrible, the sound is sorry, and the black and white screen just makes me want to vomit again and again.

I hate this game so much that I made a promise to myself that I would never pop that ugly yellow cartridge back in my Game Boy ever again. Ignore this and get into the Donkey Kong Country series instead.

This game is ok. One thing I hate about this game is it only has about three colors, when games like Men In Black use all 56 colors th Gameboy Color has to offer.

A solid side-scroller on par with Super Mario Land 2, Donkey Kong Land delivers a great game with great graphics. And unlike DKL 2, which is just a direct port of Donkey Kong Country 2 for the Super NES, the levels in DKL are completely original.

If you want maximum fun, maximum graphics, and probably the best Game Boy Game ever made, Donkey Kong Land is exactly what you're looking for. With a strange but fun storyline, our two heroes: Donkey Kong and Diddy Kong start out in the Jungle, which is probably is the funnest type of level in the game. Kicking Marios' butt, Donkey Kong can save three files, has four worlds with about fifteen to twenty action-packed levels, and a worthy boss at the end of each world. (Including King K. Rool) I played it, I loved it, and I'll play it again and again for as long as I can.

Donkey Kong and Diddy Kong are back in an exciting, new game featuring new enemies, secret passageways, and new places to journey through, such as the jungle, the mountains, a temple, underwater, or aboard an abandoned pirate ship. In this adventure, Donkey Kong and Diddy Kong are going on a journey with many different and unique levels and worlds. You may even need to use your enemies to pass some levels, but watch out! Other enemies may seemingly "pop" out of nowhere! You start out with five lives for each level, but if you are cunning, clever, and keen, you will aquire bananas along the trail. If you aquire one hundred bananas, you earn an extra life. But be careful. You may have to be aware of any enemies near the bananas. Some of them seem like traps. I strongly suggest purchasing this new, exciting, fun game for GameBoy and GameBoy Color.

This game is a great must have. But......... It has very limited graphics and color. It is very hard in some spots but it is one of the few games that makes you feel good when you beat it. This game helps beginners in Game Boy games get used to the buttons- the way they feel and what they do.

AWESOME.

this is s great game if you like adventure games! There are tons of levels and the graphics sre great considering its a game boy game. You won't get bored quickly like a lot of games. There are a lot of different kinds of levels, so the game isn't too repetitive. If you like the donkey kong country games for the SNES or any other good side- scrolling adventure game you will love this game!

Great Fun!

This game is really fun, except if you've already beaten a lot of the levels and can't get the others. But, all in all, I whole-heartedly recommend this game for Game Boy gamers.
