VIOLENT BLOODY SHARK ATTACKS!!!

Jaws is screaming bloody good fun. It is not designed to be one of the best graphically looking games of all time, or even the most intelligent, but it has bags of surreal murderous mayhem to offer and not since `Manhunt' has there been anything quite as violent as it. I am very surprised that it doesn't have an M for Mature rating for the console although the PC box does. I think the RP rating is a very low rating. The game features bodily dismemberment quite literally as people are chewed up into bags of blood with their body parts floating about. They bawl gargling and try to swim to surface missing a leg. The fun you have with this game in the first few days makes it absolutely a must have. If you own a PS2 or XBOX or a PC get JAWS UNLEASHED, especially if you are fan of the movie. How can anyone refuse to play as a great white monching up swimmers and divers? The shark movements are great because you can increase your shark attributes as the game progresses. You can stealth kill swimmers, jump up onto boats, catch people in mid air, drag them under water, torture them, play with them chomp them up into a bloody mess and then go on a free run and do it all again. The story is totally different from the movie but it does include themes very similar to all four films. There are many levels which do require some brains to work out how to solve certain puzzles. In fact I was surprised by how much this game did have to offer considering that it look like a low-entry level console game. It is far from it! This is a fully charged arcade thrill kill with more gore than you would have anticipated. It has you laughing loud at the outrageous things you can do with the shark. You have never played anything like this before, not will you again. And remember this should have been an M rating as the PC box states. The shark is literally tearing people up quite graphically.

This game is going to own in 2006.This follows 30 years after the movie when you Jaws take up residence on Amity Island trying to protect your turf from oil drillers.Mike Brody is trying to catch you and perform research on you meanwhile you kill and eat the son of a ceo so he sends a shark hunter after you.This will be the first game to allow you to play as the shark and it presents a 25 disconnection dismemorent enjine meaning you can sever your victems peice by peice.You can rip off heads,legs,arms,sever torsoes etc.Not only do you get to eat people but you get to take on other predators like the Killer Whale,Giant Squid,Salt Water Crocs,Other Sharks,Pirannas etc.This game will have elements from Jaws to Jaws Revenge in it in other words you will be able to go to Sea World and break the aquarium glass like in jaws 3.This game features story mode,free roam and challenges.In free roam you can go into stealth mode.Swimmers,surfers,skiers etc can't see you coming till your fin breaks the surface.You can even beach yourself and take people.There are over 70 creatures in this from seahorses to giant blue whales and even dogs.You can also down boats and even make some of them explode.You can tail whip divers and if your lucky you can take the helicopter down when it gets close to the water.The game will also use the Jaws theme from the movie.If you like sharks or are a fan of the jaws movies this is the game for you.This game is rated M for Blood And Gore.

Great White's are cool as Hell

Jaws unleashed is a great stress reliever. lol The entire game is fun from the beginning. It has great strategies and will always leave ya wanting more. I play this during school and classmates stare in aw and ask what Bleep I am playing. It is just simply that much fun. Also, adjusting the controls to control the shark makes it a million times better. (Don't use the mouse) Overall, this game is quite fun and I don't play many games at all but I couldn't resist this one. Enjoy

The shark isn't too hard to control if you go into the controls menu and adjust some settings. Some advanced moves are rather hard using a keyboard.
Your shark can free roam through most levels causing mayhem and death everywhere. However,when you have giant ships shooting at you from everywhere, it becomes a bit tedious. There is enough variation to keep the game interesting for awhile. There are a few minor flaws but they are minor and do not detract much from game play. This is well worth the 20 bucks if you can deal with all the blood and guts, torture and mayhem you cause. Bloody fun - somewhat.

Any jaws fan would love this game it requires some skill to master.

Here's another console port to the computer with very little being altered for the pc version. This shark is very, very difficult to control. I've been gaming for many years and this has got to be one of the most frustrating experiences in trying to control this shark. Also, you CONSTANTLY die over and over in this game due to your health meter QUICKLY dropping if you don't eat something. I've never heard of a shark who dies if he doesn't eat something every 5 minutes.. just dumb.
