My daughter really enjoyed this game. It kept her entertained for hours on end. We sold it, but she wants it back, again! Which proves that it may be played many times, before one is through with it.

This is my favorite game out of all of the others I own. You play as either a boy or girl who gets stranded on a deserted island. You start off with only a pocket knife and you need to find food, water, shelter, etc in order to survive. With some objects you can create others, for example you can create a fishing pole to catch food. Anyway I love this game, I can play it for hours. I highly recommened, but it's a shame that they don't make it anymore.

P>This is simply a classic-- you are stranded on a desert island and you must fight animals and collect an amalgam of foods (such as fruits and fish) and supplies (a kindling and working matches) to stay alive. In this game time passes, and the weather changes as well. This is important in the game; for example you can't light a fire and cook your food when it's raining. This game is not easy to beat-- there are eight possible endings and rumors of a "bonus game" when you uncover all eight.

This game is phenomenal. It's both fun and educational--good for most ages (10 and up). Kids will love it because of the concept and the challenge. You must monitor your fatigue, hunger, thirst, and health levels and replenish them when they get to an unsafe level. Parents will love it because it's very educational. It may teach you how to survive should you actually get stuck on a desert island.

Overall, this game is simply one of the best I've played in my short yet consequential life. It's a shame that this game isn't made anymore. You'll simply have to buy a used one!

Its about time we had a game like this

Two words popped into my mind when I first started playing this game, Cast Away. Stranded on a deserted island, you must survive to find a way back to civilization. First of all, this concept for a game is very original. You don't see this often. The graphics are enhanced with nice cutscenes, the sound is standard, and the play control is simplistic. The game design itself makes this a 5 star game. Made by Konami, you would have to expect this to be good, and indeed it is. Not many games are as unique and interesting as this. If you're lucky enough to get your hands on this game, you will be in for a long enjoyable ride. Oh, by the way, this is a game you'll want to play several times through as there's over 5 different endings.

This is the best game boy color game I have! I play it for hours strait!
You are ship wrecked on an island and you have a bag but the only thing usefull thing in it is a knife, which you use to cut tall grass to get places, kill animals to eat, etc. You must find fruit to eat, kill animals to eat for food, and find water to survive, you must also find a way to make fire. This is the best game ever! The fun never stops, and it is so much fun! I recomend you BUY it TODAY!
I dont have any complaints for this game! Anyone will love this game, boys and girls (in the game you can be a boy or a girl), all ages, my sister who is 17 almost 18 finds this game to be very fun, and my mom also likes to play it.

Great game for everyone

I really enjoyed this game. In my opinion, there are two different parts to it: the puzzles and the survival. The puzzles are how you win the game, and they're the type that you have to think for a long time before you figure them out, sometimes weeks. The puzzles include how to merge (put together) items you find correctly into to tools, how to get somewhere (i.e. up a cliff), and how to find the seven gems to win the game. If you're having trouble with the puzzles or think that they're too easy, it doesn't stop there. You have to find enough food, water, and sleep for yourself to keep alive. Every four or so steps, your fatigue(tiredness), food, and water counters go down by one (each of these has a max of one hundred). If any counter reaches zero, you begin to lose Life Points with every step. You can also lose Life Points when you are poisoned or hurt by animals. If your Life Points goes down to zero, you're dead. There are also 8 different endings, some of which involve another kid you can find on the island, so once you've beat one you're not done.

I like this game because once you figure out what you need to do, you keep going until you need to think again. At first the game seems just like a corky survival game with no where to go, but as you get farther into the game, you deal with temples, magic gems, and much more! To survive you need to collect items, merge them together, and use them. I promise you'll have fun!

This is better then any RPG game.(no joke)You can make a fire, broom, torch, bow, ect ect ect for your adventure. This game never gets old.(again no joke)There are many endings to the game and you want to get the best one if you can.So when you finish 100 days you mostly get a different ending. You can be a boy or girl.It dosent make a difference. There are some awsome mini games.(one has a monkey, cool huh)You have to get these gem type stones for a boat that will get you off the island and live happily ever after. So buy this game because I said so.I liked the game and I am not easily amused.
