A strange encounter... but fun none-the-less...

I first encountered this game, after ordering the Sega Channel through Paragon Cable (now comcast). Since it's conception, I would play it randomly and exceedingly well, until I beat it at least 10 times. After the Sega Channel was discontinued. I decided it was one of the games I MUST have, and decided to buy it, a good buy too (at $2.00 used) at a local game store. I still have the cardridge and its case and manual, a good buy for entertainment and loads of laughs. YOU WILL NOT WANT TO MISS OUT ON THIS ONE!!!

This is one of the most original games I have ever played. It offers an interesting storyline and multi- levels and is just plain out fun.

The simplistic design of the game is nothing compared to the game play, this game is the first to feature the two cool doods from Funkatron. Check it out, way cool game.

what can i say about this game that has not already been said. i played it about 11 years ago and complete forgot about it till recently....i actually went on amazon to buy a sega genesis just to play this game and of course your looking to buy it at 40 bucks or higher for good quality and i did. im so excited i cant wait for it to come in...it is by far the best game ever. and at these prices only proves it.

Toe Jam & Earl is old, as the graphics show the age, but it is FUN! Awesome music and gameplay, you have to have a friend to play this game with. You have to find the elevators and rocket ship pieces on each world then go up to the next one. Get rocket shoes and go back to level one to find the Hawaiian Girl filled secret island!

Toejam and Earl is a classic game that is unlike any other. You are aliens from the planet Funk-o-tron, and as you are getting down to funky beats, your ship crashes and you must collect the pieces to re-assemble your ship while avoiding enemies like Ice Cream Trucks, Lawn-mower men, and Nerds.

This game provides hours and hours of fun, the only bad thing about it is you can't save it. Other than that, this game is a blast, and I am very surprised that they haven't come out with something like this again. This game DOES have sequels, but they are nothing like this game and really aren't any good at all. If you own a Sega Genesis and you're looking for a good 1- or 2-player game, this is it!
