Roller Coaster Tycoon was a great game, but the only problem with it is it does't let you be free, and build whatever you want. Neither does the expansion pack, but it is a lot better then the orginal, besides the fact that it takes away a great ride, the Superman thing (The roller coaster that shoots you strait up). However, it does add some awesome roller coasters, like the steel twister (which is like The Hulk or Kumba), which lets you do a lot more. Overall, I would give this game 4 stars because it still doesn't let you build freely, but it is a good add on pack.
It's like a whole other game

This expansion is more than an addition to the original Rollercoaster Tycoon game, it's like a whole other game. Besides the original features (see my review for RCT) this game includes 25 new scenarios, new roller coaster types, new attractions (rides, ride enhancements, stalls, and shops), new colors and painting techniques, new landscaping items, new landscaping themes, more entertainers, and more.
That may seem like a lot of new things, but it's less than it seems. That's why I gave it four stars. Another thing: almost all of those things have to be earned in one way or another. Like you have to get the rest of the scenarios by starting with the first five new ones (like the original game), and you have to research the attractions, themes, entertainers, etc.
Another cool feature is that you can have almost all the rides play music. There are a lot of them too (like rock, techno, gentlle, horror...) and it really adds a lot of life to the park, to you and your guests. As a whole (the RCT and the expansion) this game is a sure winner. But Corkscrew Follies alone is not the best or the biggest expansion for RCT, but it's sure worth the $$.

RollerCoaster Tycoon is a really fun and almost educational. It is also a game that will keep you coming back to play more and more. I think it is one of the best games since Pac-Man was invented. It is also a game that takes alot of thinking and not just playing.

This expansion game addon makes Roller Coaster Tycoon be better then before. There are a ton of new rides, scenrios, and tons of more fun. Even if you don't like RollerCoasters that much this game is still tons of fun. I bought the game and couldn't stop. The Water Roller Coaster is awesome! If you don't have this game then go get it. You have no idea what your missing.

What can I really say other than FUN FUN FUN!!!! Roller Coaster Tycoon Corkscrew Follies and Loopy Landscapes are just what the doctor ordered when it comes to RCT!!! I absolutely can not think of any downfalls to either of the expansion packs. I have spent many a nights playing these games and still I have not gotten tired of them. Corkscrew Follies offers a wide variety of new coaster types as well as new carnival rides. There are also many new shops to choose from such as my personal favorite the seafood stand that looks like an octopus! This review will be short and sweet but I simply want it to be direct to the point and that is if you own the original Roller Coaster Tycoon then Corkscrew Follies is a must have!!! Definately worthy of 5 stars!

This addon is a must for anyone who has Rollercoaster Tycoon. There are so many new rides and features it makes the game a lot more fun to play, because you have such a variety. The new rides are wicked.

This is a perfect addition to Roller Coaster Tycoon. With this game, Roller Coaster Tycoon, and the Roller Coaster Tycoon Expansion Pack: Loopy Landscapes you should be able to design the ultimate amusement park on your PC. This game will work with Windows XP Home Edition, although you might have to run it in windows compatibility mode.

I am a Roller Coaster lover. I have ridden over 100 roller coaster, and when I am not riding the rails, I am playing Roller Coaster Tycoon. Now I have a even better reason to play. With so many more coasters and some more rides. The only thing that is needed to make the game pefect is another Add-on with more rides.
This software will throw you for a loop...
