Very Fun Sims Game

This is definitely one of my favorite DS games. In "The Urbz: Sims in the City", your character, with help from various other characters, tries to save the city from an evil man named Daddy Bigbucks.

The good things about the game:
1) The missions are fun and challenging. Some don't take much figuring out while others take time.
2) There are many characters and each have their own interests and it doesn't matter whether they are in the same rep. group (richies, artsies, etc.), they don't always agree on the same subject.
3) You get to buy furniture and decorate your character's house any way you want. As far as I know, as long as it fits you can put as much furniture as you want in the house.
4) It's fun to walk around the city and explore the various shops and places when you first discover them.
5) You can create a pet when you unlock the feature and it can follow you around everywhere.
6) Saving and loading is quick and easy.

One not-so-good thing about the game:
In the beginning, the character is constantly in need of something whether it's food, rest, tv, etc. This makes it hard to complete missions quickly, especially if you need a certain level of skill.

I really enjoyed playing this game and every once in a while I play it again. Great game!

TEDIOUS, ADDICTIVE, and somewhat fun.

Playing this game seems more like a chore at times than fun. The game would be much more fun if you didn't have to keep taking a nap and bathroom/shower breaks every few minutes. It gets addictive and you will spend huge amounts of time performing tiny amounts of in game activity.

If you have lots of time and don't mind tedious games... then have at it!

It was a bit too tedious and repetitive for my taste.

Nintendo DS is supposed to have better graphics...

But you'ld never know it from looking at this game! The Urbz for Nintendo DS is nothing but the GBA version with the feature of having the screen on the bottom available. That is my complaint with this game.

Otherwise it's basically The Sims Bustin Out for GBA re-done for a big city. I still am enjoying the game, as it gives me something else to play on my DS, but I've found the game play hasn't changed all that much from the previous game.

If you're a new DS owner and you're looking for a game to take advantage of all the DS's power, I would suggest you look elsewhere in the limited selection of games for the DS. If you're a Sims Platform fan, you'll enjoy having the ability to take your Sims on the road much easier then you could before.

good, but basically the same as the gameboy advance version

I loved this game on the gameboy sp, so I assumed it would be bumped up a couple notches for the high-powered DS version. Truth is, it is really the same game with the same graphics. Does not tap into the power of the Nintendo DS at all. The only tangible advantage is you get the dual screen action...other than that it is the same game.

First off, this game is very fun and we would highly recommend it to almost anyone (except maybe a drunk teacher)...(random I know). Well, there are a ton of missions, a good item variety, and also, there is a create-a-pet option after you get far enough into the game. Overall, this is a great game. Even though some think it has a "boring" or "dumb" plotline, we think they're too prejudiced to open their minds to anything other than the computer versions. Hope "WE" helped ya! ;]

This game is a little bit freaky (isnt that like all sims games?)It has all the lingo and goin around nightclubs and making apartments...weird but fun nonetheless. You can be an alter ego in this new game (good or bad) from nerdies-streeties-richies-to artsies this game is all jumbled up. Quite a good game if u have some spare time.

Great... For a little while

I got this game a couple mounths ago and I loved it. Then I won it. It got really boring after the 5th time I played the story line. But it has great gameplay. the 1st time you play it thats all you will ever do (like most sim games) anyways I hope if you get it you will enjoy it very much.

this game is strange

this game is definetly among the strangest games ever, your guy is always acting cool and talking about his house being a "crib".
But the music is good for a handheld and the minigames are fun, also people i nthe game tell jokes, but the story is cool. Daddy bigbucks is trying to ruin everyones life by giving everything expensive fees.
How will he do that? by buying sim city! he's that rich, has funny hair and you have to stop him. there's no shooting i n this game and I would not reccomend it.

THE BEST SIMS GAME EVER!!!
