This game is cool. I expesialy like playing multiplayer over LAN. If you are thinking of geting any stragety game you should first dounload the demo of this game. That is how I learned about the game and now I have it. It has three side that unlike in some games and very different.

Think of this as Command and Conquer underwater! This game predicts how undersea empires would wage war over a century in the future.

If you long for the days of the 1990's when you played C&C and all it's sequels, and you still have a working Windows 98 machine sitting around (like I do, thankfully) then by all means spend a buck or two and get this game!

Sure it looks like it was done a few years ago, but the implementation is beautiful. The sea floors are very textured with lots of precisely rendered and colorful little sea critters swimming by as you build your base and your subs and try to complete your mission.

The various units and technologies are very imaginative. There's a lot of very cool units with big, interesting tech trees to work your way through. The missions are challenging but not infuriatingly difficult or mindlessly easy. There are cut scenes between missions, and you can play through three campaigns: one for each race (or group) represented in the game.

This game is as much art as programming and was obviously a lot of work for a lot of people. I don't know why it didn't become one of the most well known RTS games of its time.

Oh yeah, I've played this game through several skirmish missions and I'm six episodes into a campaign and it hasn't crashed yet! The game is totally reliable from a technical point of view.

So, spend a buck or two for a used copy and give it a try. Once you start, you might not come up for air for a long time!

it's really fun!

Pick your Strategy

3 races = 3 times the fun.
What strategy will you choose. Offence, Defence, Expansionism, or combination.

Game is well balanced if you know how to play. You can fend of any rush attack if you play defensively in the beginning And when you defeated your opponents rush they are usually weaker and you can take them out.

More exciting when you get to the Weopons of mass destruction stage. Nuclear Missiles, Laser Bombs, and my personal Favourite. Vacuume Bombs.

Just a fun game

This game came to me as a throw in in some other game I bought, and to tell you the truth, I can't even remember what game that was. When I moved to an XP machine I moved this also and it has worked fine. Now, many years later I still play it for a few weeks at a time.
