I enjoy games with vilonce, etc. the bad side 2 this game is that it is short and the fact Alyssa is a slow runner, i can understand about the panic metre even though its annoying, that they r trying 2 make it hard on u and that u can't get weapons until a boss battle (bow and arrow), Alyssa is 2 young 2 have guns and that running away from ugly dead maniacs is 2 add the challenge 2 it. it took me about 8hrs and about half an hour 2 finish it, mainly because the bad guys were always close by so i had 2 always hide after finding something that would b useful 4 later on. Each boss took me about 30mins 2 kill when it came 2 the battles,I'd usually studied their attacks and find ways of how i could dodge them b4 i decided 2 actually battle them.
With the final boss i figured out how 2 take half of one of his life bars. It doesn't seem 2 work straight at the beginning of the battle but any how it may or may not work if u decide 2 use this, depends at what time u do it i guess but when quarter of his his 1st health bar (green) is gone use it.
First of in some of the previous boss battles, how sometimes they were held back because u powered up your arrow 2 the max. Well unfourtanetly the final boss is cable of doing it 2 u by throwing an orb at ya. Don't let 1 of his orbs hit u while 2 other orbs r still holding u back as it ends the game and Alyssa losses, its best 2 duck from his orbs. move away from the spot u were standing when he says "There is no escape" but he only says it when half of his 1st health bar is gone. So this is how i figured it out, when I saw 2 of those things that hold him back i thought if he could end me by having 3 of his orbs hold me back which then he could use his strongest attack, i wondered if i had 3 of of mine holding him back i 2 could use my special attack the 1 that she used 2 end Chopper. So I used my red binding arrow which holds the enemy in place, on him as my 3rd thing 2 hold him back and it work it took the last half of his 1st life bar. U could even use 3 of your binding arrows 2 do the trick but b quick as they don't hold him back 4 long. Once u finished him fully run 2 an area that is glowing but becareful as the Final boss can still kill u why u have lost your weapon.Once He is destroyed press yes 2 save and then load it because now you can start again but able 2 change her clothes this time but beware her panic metre goes up easier and the bosses have new toys 2 use on ya.And u now can see every cutscene and the CT3 art just by going 2 therater. Its worth 2 buy it.

I really enjoyed this game, i played it with my sister cause i was so scared! Anyway, i thought it was scary and all but it didn't deserve 5 stars. Why? you ask. Well, i thought the game was to short.. it's only 4 levels and once i was engrossed i wanted it to keep going. Plus, the enemies that you fight agaisnt can get pretty annoying-- i swear i heard scissorwoman say "snickety-snap" about 20 times before I could run away from her. Also, I thought some of the plot was a little iffy.. I don't want to ruin the game for you so i will only tell you a little--- you find out that the clock tower is beneath Alyssa's house.. huh? Wouldn't you know if your house was built on top of a clock tower? Sorry to whomever didn't want to hear that.. I didn't ruin anything for you! (really i didn't :) ) Anyway, with those few things, i still loved it.. i thought it was great and if your in for a good scare it's the game for you. What i liked about it was how the enemies would jump out of nowhere when you least expected it, and also how the weapon isn't what you would normally expect. You use holy water to stun your enemies and kill moths (which turn out to be their helpers that find you for the bad guys) In the boss battles you use a bow and arrow to fight agaisnt them, it's very fun! I also liked how the noises really sounded like how they would in real life. Example, when you open a door or are walking on water it really sounds real, to get the player i.e. me more interested. I really enjoyed this game, and it's a game that you can play over and over again. Plus, once you finish it you are able to unlock what we call "the cinema" which is just a place you can go to to watch all the movies of the game. It's fun, it's scary and it's an overall great game. :)!

Waste of time, but amusing...

This game is rather pointless, mostly because all you do is run anf hide from your enemies. You have no eapon of any sort basically...unless you call the holy water helpful. Hah. not really. If you are a person looking for a game with real action or gunning material, don't pick this one. It gets the blood moving but running and hiding isn't my thing, i suppose though if you like to figure things out, it's ok but the puzzles are easy...and the clues are easy to miss forever. *gags*

Do Not buy this game!!!

This game is a complete waste of time. It is just too hard to play. I think I know how to play video games, having played them since they first came out in the early 70's. Having a monster chasing you all the is not my idea of fun. And having 3 shots of water as your only weapon sucks! You die before you can get to refill. When you use water it only last a few moments. After playing for 2 days I QUIT! I wish Amazon would let me put a zero in the star ratings.

dont judge a game by its title

First of all I want to warn all those CT fans: dont take this game as a Clock tower game, think of it as of something separate (actually that is also a good thing to do with Resident evil 4),it really goes better once you do that, believe me.
The almighty Resident evil master Capcom took the game name to its new level - no more point & click controls!Though the gameplay idea is almost the same- run, run for your life and hide!Or attack with something that might come in handy. No matter if you played any CT games before or not, it will take some time to 'learn the curve' and develop some tactics in those 'boss battles', which I find the major turn off in this game. But once you get used to it, its not a problem.
The juicy part of this game- enemies. They are nicely made:appearance, story, theme music. But why they are Oh so predictable? Sometimes when they jump out all of a sudden and scare the main heroine, its pretty cool, but when it happens over and over again, added with some stupid repeating phrases or laughters from them,or when they are just following you non-stop, it doesnt seem so scary or intriguing anymore, but more like annoying. It could be much better, if the enemies were more intelligent.
The story is promising and somewhat gory (at least the first two parts). But unfortunately there is no replay value, except for some alternate costumes, higher difficulty level and bosses with other weapons.
Now onto the conclusion:
some might love this game, some might hate, some might just leave it in the middle. If you arent a survival horror fan, I highly doubt you will fit in the first category. But if you are, there is a big chance you will enjoy CT3 while waiting for that new RE/SH to come out!

Even though Clock Tower 3 is a little too long, it's still one of the best games I've played yet, except maybe for 'Haunting Ground'. I've been trying for about 5 years to beat the last boss fight between Alyssa and her Grandfather but never have succeeded. I would love to finish the game but the last battle is the hardest one I've seen in any video game. And also, it looks like the game designers could make the main character's clothes and skin to gradually become more smudged as the game goes along, but instead, at the end of the game, the main player still looks like he/she is ready to go out dancing even after wading through sewers and battling enemies and getting thrown around all over the place. CT3 is more exciting than 'Resident Evil' because the enemies in this game, as in 'Haunting Ground', chases you from one area or room to another, but in RE when you meet up with enemies, you can just leave the room and they cannot follow. Another thing I like about the game is, alyssa moves at the same speed all through the game, so there's no need to press two buttons to make her run, just the left analog stick is all. Hope there's a 'Clock Tower 4' in the future.
