It's a lot of fun (anything associated with this show would pretty much have to be), but game-wise it's pretty darn simple. There's one linear quest each for Brian, Peter, and Stewie, and nothing's very challenging or long. You might die as Peter a couple of time in the casino when the Indians start throwing things at you, but starting from pretty much the same place with full health mitigates that difficulty. About the only challenging part in the game is escaping the police station as Brian. And the game simply isn't very long; one weekend ought to be more than enough to complete it.

That said, the non-sequiturs and in-game voiceovers will have you in stitches. And some of the specific things you have to do in-game are pretty funny too (I'm reminded of one mini-game involving Peter; I won't give it away). So this is very much a game worthy of play, but the replay value is slim to none, and it shouldn't take long to beat it. So rent this one.

bad camera and slugish controls are par for the corse for this game the non sequiter mini games that pause the action are porly exicuted and the whole thing just looks and feels wrong I'd give it only half a star if i could

Family Guy has been my most favorite show for a long time. I love the game. The game has some humor that some people may find offensive but it is the best game to get if you are a Family Guy fan.

THIS GAME IS FUN FOR ANYBODY JUST LIKE THE SHOW YOU GOTTA LOVE IT AND ITS NOT A WAIST OF MONEY BECAUSE THE GAME IS ACTUALLY WORTH PLAYING AND GIVES A GOOD LAUGH TO ANYBODY I DEFINITELY WOULD RECOMMEND THIS GAME!!!

The Best out of tv show games

Sure some tv show game a good. But Family Guy, with it's Crazy creaters and writers have hit it. This is the best out of tv show games. Why? Because it's true to the show, it has the voice talents of the original actors, and the story and game was made by the creaters. And another Plus is when you play it. you can also control other characters in the game, like death, Quagimire, Cleveland, Defed Up Greased Guy, Peter's Father & Lois. But You can only control theme in some of Stewie's Levels with his mind control. And another plus is that when you play Peter's levels you get to fight some of the characters that Peter gets fights into some of the shows. This Game is like a lost episode, that you'll never see on TV or DVD. Now lets talk about characters.

Stewie: The game starts out that stewie wants to take over the world, Like Always. But Bertrum his Evil brother is in his way. so Stewie sets out to stop him. So hi can do it himself.

Peter: Meanwhile Peter is watching a Mr. Belveder marathon on his tv station PTV, in the mean time when stewie and bertrum duke it out on the roof of the garage Peter goes out and get clonked on the head. While peter is in the hospitle he wakes up and thinks that Mr. Belveder kidnapped his family and goes out to search for him, Oh, did i tell you he thinks everybody he runs into works for Mr. Belveder. From Children To Old People. In some levels petter will get knocked out and turn into some crazy character from the show.

Brian: Now poor Brian is acussed of getting Sebreez Pregnant again. When Joe takes him to jail Brian Escapes your job is to find out who the real Father is and when you get to brians last level you'll get a suprise. Giggity.

The game is really fun. like some of the other reviewrs say this is basically a game for fans. Oh, just one more thing. Another cool part of the game is you get to actually get to play the cut aways. Each character has a diffrent way off geting out of thier perdicaments. But I'll let you find out for yourself. I hope this review helps.

From the gameplay, to the movie clips, you won't stop laughing!

Family Guy the videogame, is basically taking control of an extended episode. Credit is due for the writers and cast who made me laugh from start to finish. Playing the game is easy, the objectives aren't very difficult, and they're not meant to be. This is for hardcore fans of the show and it does contain plenty of adult situations and language. Lets hope they made another very soon!

Take a basic platform game and a uniquely funny cartoon and you've pretty much come up with Family Guy, for the PS2. As long as you don't mind hopping, running and swinging around, you'll be just fine. Be prepared for much of the same humor from the show, which is what originally had me interested in this game. Some parts are tedious and some jumping views aren't all they're cracked up to be. But I found the humor alone kept me going through this game till the very end.

If you're a fan of the show, you'll love running through this game.

Family fun made easy.
