It's no Silent Assassin

"Hitman 2" was one of the best PS2 games ever, so when I bought Contracts and found it to be a poorly made quicky sequel out only to snatch my $50 bucks, I hoped the developers would go back to the drawing board and come up with something on par with Silent Assassin.

No such luck: Above all, Blood Money is silly and incredibly boring. No spoiler, but one mission takes place in the White House. Right, no trouble sneaking in there.
The rest of missions don't follow any real story like HM2 but use the choppy action sequence approach that, unlike Contracts, aren't even entertaining. When I found myself chasing people dressed like birds I knew the game was in trouble.
And finally, the end is the worst ever, on par with, "It was all just a dream!" Save your money.

I love this game.Alot of weapons... it takes brains if you want to kill the marks quietly or you can just kill everyone who witnesses. But i don't think you get a bonus for making that much noise. You can change clothes to disguise yourself. This game is just all kinds of kool.

A step forward

I must first say to anyone interested in buying this game who is unfamiliar with the series that it will take your undivided attention and patience in order to complete each and every mission. And thats why I think this series is so great. It's a nice break from games such as Halo, where you just blow the living hell out of anything that moves.Hitman will actually make you think and also observe every characters movement. And believe me you will fail many MANY times, but if you have the patience and the time on your hands the accomplishment you feel after beating a mission is well worth it.

Now for those of you who have played a Hitman game before i'm sure you want to know how it stacks up to 'Hitman 2' and 'Contracts',and the original of course. And to be honest,I don't think any fans will be disappointed with 'Bloody Money'.If you weren't too happy with Contracts, like most, you gotta give this game a chance because Eidos really did go great lengths to improve everything about the series in this game.

One thing fans will first notice is that Blood Money is somewhat easier than the previous three games.Unlike the older games,Agent 47 will actually conceal his weapon instead of walking with it by his side.Which caught the attention of the enemy quicker, making you want to bash your controller into a thousand peices after awhile.Along with this you can also upgrade any of your weapons with good detail. There are dozens of features you can add onto each gun (silencers, scopes, laser sighting, ect).Having these, and especially the silencers, make some of the later missions easier to get around.

I really don't have anything bad to say about Blood Money. The controls are tight, the camera is fine (and allows you to go into a FPS mode when you press R3),and the story is also interesting.I haven't experienced any god awful glitches or bad slow downs either.I recommend getting the 360 or PC version.

Bloody Good Fun!!

Hitman Blood Money is thoroughly entertaining and challenging. You can't simply go running around blasting like a maniac. You need patience, skill and stealth to complete the missions and continue on in the game. The new "notoriety" feature is a great addition as well. At the end of each mission, you get to see a newspaper front page that show the deaths of your victims and if you are sneaky enough, the story indicated that the victim died of "unknown causes" or at least that there are no suspects. Go crazy and you get plastered all over the front page.

A fun, stealth game with some minor downsides.

Hitman: Blood Money really impressed me on the PS2. The graphics are good, but the faces are great. I also enjoyed the set of customizable weapons. I played many of the levels over and over trying to find new ways to get the hit. Some of the things I thought were bad about the game were the random witnesses. I try to get the best rank and a mystery witness pops up. Another thing is the legnth of the game. I am a serious gamer and played almost constantly, but I beat the game in only a few days. This game is one of the most challenging games in my collection. I played one level FIVE times trying to get it perfect. It was a Fun fast and slow paced game which kept me on the brink of insanity until the end of the last level, "Requiem." I would recommend this game.

It Rocks
