Fans of the previous King's Field games will love this game. While the story quality is dropped a few notches from King's Field 2, the immersiveness of the environment is absolutely stunning. There are certain parts of the game that will just make your jaw drop and the hair stand on the back of your neck.

The story seems to take place prior to the events of the first two games (distantly), but there are still many familiar elements that will make a die-hard King's Field fan smile. For one, there is the chance of certain death from a simple miss-step at the very start. :p Also, there is the familiar hidden room with a skeleton guarding the leather shield in the treasure chest (this must be a trademark). My favorite though, is the gigantic boss monsters that can one-hit you if you challenge them too soon!

There are quite a few innovations to the game. The most note-worthy would be that you can go underwater! You won't last long at first, but as you work your way up to demi-god status, you will be able to spend a good deal of time underwater.

While not as lengthy as King's Field 2, the game is a must for fans of the prior two in the series.

GOOD GAME, NOTHING FANTASTIC

This game is pretty challenging, but lacks punch. The ending is really dissapointing.
