Cute game -- for kids in the 6-10 range

This is a well done game, especially if you liked the movie. Characters voices and behavior are consistent with the movie and there's a cute storyline to the game.

There are a number of stages that you follow in order, completing one to move to the next.

There's a pretty small age window that its good for -- I'd say about 6 to 10. Under 6, the stages are too hard. Over 10 they're sort of easy and not that engaging -- you can fly thru pretty quickly.

It would be a bit better if you could jump around and play the "games" that you enjoy instead of having to go sequentially, but it's still well done and worth buying.

This was a particularly good game for our younger kids, though our 9 year old was able to finish the entire game in a weekend. Our 7 year old continues to enjoy it without the same degree of frustration that he experiences with some other games that are a bit too old for him. This game was great even though the kids have not seen the movie.

Finally, a true kid-friendly game!

Many games my kids have aren't actually geared towards kids. This game is perfect for children. It's fun without being too hard or easy. My children are 6 and 8 years old and can be challenged and entertained. I highly recommend this as a great family game. Many games we can take turns playing!

ok this game is great. very fun and kool to play. But way way way to easy and short. I would say this game is good for kids that are beginners with videogameing this game is also good for
4-10 years old. great graphics and good story line and plot.i would say the game is excellent but rent it first because the gme is very very easy and short.and you will propbaly be done in 1to 2or 3 days. this is the easy game i have ever played

We loved the movie and my 12 year old daughter loves this game. It's nice to have a game that does not involve shooting weird beasts and splashing blood all over the place.

Though I did beat it in a day, this is a awesome, this is a good sequel from the Lemony Snicket game, 10/10 though this game
is SHORT! I mean how many days did it take Activision to create
this game, Il ove this game and can't wait to see the movie, the
local that I like is King Julien, he sounds like a real native,

My son loves this game! We rented it first from Blockbuster and now he won't let us take it back, so I ordered it from Amazon.com so I can take the game back soon to Blockbuster! I have to help him through some of the areas, like when the penguin is fishing, but I don't mind because it's FUN.

Great Play but Short

I love the cut out scenes from the movie in this game, the graphics are wonderful and the characters are easy to control through out the game.

But the downside is, it took me two days to finished playing it. So it's kinda of too short of a game, imo.

Most of the plots are easy, but others are just confusing. I spent more time trying to figure out what character do what job during the switch-a-roo on the Island. Maybe it's just me.

The Penguins plots are as cute as ever during the mutiny scenes and even before when they were still in a zoo.

Overall. It's fun while the game last but at the end, I do wish I can play the game much more longer than it is.

I enjoy adventure games more than any other type. I couldn't find out much about this game, but I figured it would be good since it's by Activision, and they are known for putting out good games. But now that I've played it, the game is better than I expected. It's also funnier and also weirder than I expected. The characters are easy to control, and because they each have special powers it makes it fun to swap back and forth between them. There is also a level where you get to play as stealth penguins, and smack some sailors around. Sailor smacking is always a good time. As you go through the game, you collect money. With the money, you can buy even more games like shufflepuck and mini-golf. There is a lot of different mini-games in the game, and the characters look and move around just like the movie characters and the only bad thing I could say is that it's not really that hard.
