GET THIS GAME!!

If you are a fan of the movies, you are going to love this game. It is difficult enough to be a chalange, yet the controlls are simple enough to be enjoyable. One of the best boxing sims i have ever played. The unique training mode really makes the game.

ABSOLUTELY INCREDIBLE

iu myself am a huge fan of the movies so I had to get the game, and it was worth while to.
It has great sound affects and the graphics are great, along the way you can fight from spider rico to the greats like Ivan Drago and Tommy Gunn.
I reccommend it for anyone!

I was in Sam's the other day, and I had 15 dollars to blow. I had a choice between this game and Knockout Kings, both obviously older games. I chose this one, thinking that the movie mode would be good. Boy was I right. I have never before beat a game by myself. Usually I get to about the 5th level and just give up and my brother beats it. Not so with this one. You have to fight in the actual venues Rocky fights in, from the chapel to the Philadelphia Arena. The only thing was that it is maybe too easy. The only boxer that I had trouble beating was Big Chuck Smith. This game stays true to the movies and the graphics are wonderful for a game made in 2001. Also this game stays true to actual boxing, not this street fighting stuff that some games have (Although Rocky does fight Tommy Gunn outside Mick's Gym). This game was definitely worth the 15.00 I paid for it, and I would reccomend it to anyone

All of the drama of Rocky in a fundamentally sound game!!!

Being a fan of the Rocky movies, I was intrigued by the Movie Mode that allows you to follow the story line through all five movies. After playing the game for about a week (I am addicted to it!), I can now say that it is a very fundamentally sound boxing game as well with an excellent variety of punches and defenses. Through the training mode, you are able to prepare for your next opponent. Now, with a little practice and trial and error, I have been able to master all but one of the training exercises (I have been unable to get any kind of a good score on the heavy bag.). You are also able to practice through sparring and exhibition fights. In Movie Mode, you start out by fighting Spider Rico, just like in the original Rocky. After you win that fight, you face a few more opponents until your big showdown with Apollo Creed in Philadelphia (You have to win, though, instead of just going the distance.). After that, you have about 4 or 5 fights until you reach Creed again. That pattern continues through Clubber Lang, Ivan Drago, and finally a street fight with Tommy Gunn.
For more than one player, the game offers a couple of fun choices that include exhibition matches and a tournament. You have to complete the Movie Mode to access the tournament, though.
I have played many boxing video games throughout the years and this ranks among the best. It is fun and challenging and a must for any Rocky fan!!!

This game is really good except it's exactly like the movie.
You get beat up really bad until there's only like a minute left.
You're basically a punching bag until the last minute (like the movie).
It's really frustrating when you have to take a beating like that for all but one minute of the match.

I highly recommend!!!!

I bought this game which turned out to be rubbish first of all the gameplay is sloppy and horrible the boxers look like apes.
THIS COULD BE AS I DONT LIKE OLD GAMES AND DONT WATCH BOXING BUT STILL LIKED KNOCKOUT KINGS AND READY TO RUMBLE.
IF YOU CANT PLAY THIS GAME WITH A FRIEND THEN DONT BOTHER GETTING IT.
I RENTED THIS GAME FOR 3 NIGHTS AND TOOK IT BACK ON THE FIRST NIGHT AND ASKED FOR MY MONEY BACK.

This game is so tight I loved it.

After taking my kids through the Rocky series, we were pumped to go out and purchase the game. Only a few hours later, my 7 year old son was able to master the game on champion level. All it took was one button. He did not even understand the training menu. He was very under rated at the beginning of each fight and always came out a victor with using 1 button. I was hoping for more of a challenge.
