Fun for everyone!

I installed this game at 10am Christmas morning and it was continuously played until 11pm by everyone from my 69 year old Dad to my 13 year old daughter. VERY realistic sound and graphics! Pearly Gates was voted the family favorite although Popeye, Las Vegas, Hot Lines, and Wild Fruit Bars ran close seconds. Only thing missing from the casino experience is the second-hand cigarette smoke and the real money!

Jackpots are hard to get.

This is an excellent product, but, winning the jackpots is so difficult. I've owned this item for almost a year. I use to play it often, but I got disgusted with not winning the jackpots. The games are just like the casino's versions and just as hard to win the jackpots. I've only won jackpots on two of the games and I have played them all for many hours and days, since buying it. I will try the newest Masque Publishing Edition of Slots, because they did an excellent job, on all the versions, in reproducing the casino games for personal computing play.

So far the Slots from Bally Gaming is a good as it gets. Only thing it does not do is give you the money from the casino. Love it ... Masque makes the very best casino games. Never dissapointed in any of their poker, solitaire, or any of the three Slots... Great way to relax!!

Great For What It Is

Okay, let's get one thing straight: playing a slot game where there is no payout is like giving a starving man a plastic apple. Sure, it looks nice but what good is it? The same holds true for this game.
So why the 4 stars? Well, I'm basing my rating on what the developers set out to do, and that's to make a realistic casino slot game. The graphics, the bells and whistles-it's all there! I bought the game for the characters it features (Popeye, Blondie and Betty Boop) and the mini-games you can play when you hit the bonus reels. I was not disappointed.
Granted, after awhile you wonder what you are doing staring at a monitor and clicking your mouse on the same spot over and over again. All in all, if you like slot games and the classic cartoon characters, this games for you.

I have all the Bally Slots on the market as of this date. I am very pleased with most of them. The one thing that turns me off is the fact is they do not have an official web page. I would also like to know if there are any updates for the Bally games I have. It would be a lot better if the Authors would Visit a Real Casino and get a good idea of what is new on the market. I would at a Casino as a Slot Tech. I would Like to see some Slots come out like "Double Diamond 2000", "Texas Tea", and "Fortune Cookie". In my opinion the Slots (Popeye) is by for the best that Bally has put out. The others are good graphics and I like the payoff scale altho it isn't what the Real Thing payoff is like. If you like Slots just for playing or never have been to a casino before this is the way to go. Get it. Getting the Programs Registered would also be nice. I do love the Idea of NO CD KEY. That is a very big Plus in my book.

This game has no install wizard and no uninstall. It says compatible with Windows 98 and ME. When I loaded it on my computer Windows ME, it would not work. MShell21.DLL lobby error. Tried to uninstall and it uninstalled components of other programs on my computer, which then totally crashed. Tried to load it on another computer using Windows 98, still would not work. Contacted Masque, they had me return the product for a refund. I think there are bugs in this program. Buyer Beware.

More of Slots 2.

Yeah, its more of the same of the excellent Slots II game. An even mix of video and reel; the same great quality sound and graphics.

So if you liked Slots II, (read all reviews); you'll love this one. And especially if you are a fan of 9 - line 5 reel Video slots. All the latest from Bally that came out last year.

You won't go wrong.

Great - highly recommend

Love this game- great graphics and love those bonus rounds - really impressed and highly recommend.

For those who play for the fun, not for the money.

This kind of fun in the casinos is way too expensive. Here you can play as much as you like, with tons of different machines, and keep your wallet untouched.

Surprisingly good

I didn't expect much from this game. It was a replacement for a videopoker and slots combination from Masque that had gotten lost. The graphics on this disc are verty good. I can't comment much on the sound since I keep that turned off most of the time. There is a wide choice of slot machines, several with extended play/bonus features. The one major drawback is the necessity to keep the disc in the drive while you play the games.
