Dissapointment

After using Hasbro Scrabble Complete for many years I was really excited about a 2007 edition. It was such a dissapointment to see the terrible graphics and elementary platform produced by Encore. I have uninstalled it and went back to my Hasbro edition. Don't waste your money on this loser.

Unable to Install

Scrabble is a great game and I was looking forward to playing it on my computer. In the process of installing, I got a message that this was not an original disk. I contacted my computer expert who could not install it either. He made several calls to tech support who gave him several different ways to install the program. None of them worked and even he finally gave up. Now I am disappointed and stuck with some useless software.

Don't buy Scrabble Champion for a laptop

This game did not work on my laptop. An earlier version, Scrabble Complete works fine.

I have been very disappointed trying to find a Scrabble game that works on my new computer that runs on XP Pro. This game works!

The game is fun. What I enjoy most and what got my to upgrade from scrabble complete is the newest words are playable. Like za. I only play against the computer and find it good for that.

I have a older (2001) compaq desktop w/Xp and have no problems with the software. I have loaded it once and off it goes. My only problem is the beatings I've received.

All forms of Scrabble are great as is this one. However, the DVD's response is too rapid to follow along; all of a sudden, it's on the board. This game automatically inserts its hint which may not be my final choice. Instructions are too involved and detailed. Scrabble players don't need all those directions as most people begin playing the game from a boxed version.

Since I bought this version of the game, it has taken over my free time. I play at one of the higher levels and the little devil keeps coming up with new and strange words. The built in dictionary is a great feature (validates all of these words) Have to stop writing this review now because I have a game of Scrabble to play.

I received this game as a christmas gift and I can't stop playing it. Finally a Scrabble game that doesn't mess with the internal workings of my computer and doesn't go black. The only thing I'd wish they'd do with this game is to upgrade the dictionary so that it acknowledges a lot more words as legitimate plays. Hopefully, they'll do this in the near future and then I can buy that one.

I saw this product in the store, and nearly didn't buy it due to other reviews saying the game didn't play without the CD in the drive and that it didn't play on laptops.

I bought it anyway, and took a risk...

ABSOLUTELY LOVE THIS GAME! It works PERFECTLY on my LAPTOP and works WITHOUT the CD in the drive.

Not sure what the others are talking about... but this version of Scrabble works great for me!
