Amazing!

The single player of this game is rather difficult, and the AI for you're teammates is terrible, they are more like cannon fodder than anything else, but where this game shines is single player lonewolf or multiplayer! The maps are great, the weapons are great, and the action is intense...ever want to know how easy it is to get picked off if you stick you're little noggin out a window? This game gives you a taste, whether its a sniper rifle, or a squad automatic weapon, or a pistol, you're down in one hit if its the head...maybe 2 or 3 if its not. The best part is perhaps the reticule bloom...this simulates the shock felt by being shot, and also the kick of a gun...fully auto is nice and rambo like but you won't hit crap after a second or two, and there is NO way you can aim just as well running as you can kneeling...thats what this game has that I love. I do wish there was an option for going prone, but oh well. Another aspect is the option for modding...mods give you extra levels, more weapons, even a nearly different game altogether! (one turns you into a ninja with different swords for weapons and all, really quite well done). This game is definitely for the military type, who likes strategy, and stealth as well as big guns...if you're a quake kinda person, where fast and furious blasting with giant rocket launchers is you're meat and potatoes, you might not like the realism, but its a fun game either way. I highly recommend it.

The best of stratigy games and first person action games combined. You can create your teams, gear them up, make an attack plan, and carry it out to your specifications. Granted some Recon missions are extremely hard if not imposable, but cheats are available as a last resort. Huge book included to give pointers and suggestions on almost every level. Practice and Training modes very helpfull for sticky situations too. EXTREMELY ADDICTIVE!!!

One Hard Game

This is probably the hardest game that I have played on the computer. I love this game because it keeps you on the edge of your seat in thinking that you are actually a real life member of the SWAT team. I had difficulties with nearly every level. Each level killed me at least 5 times before I would finally get the hang of it. This is a must buy for anyone out there who is into scary stuff. This game chilled my spine with the omnimous music. This game is even better with sub's installed in your sound system

OH MY! I HAVENT PLAYED THIS GAME IN YEARS! Ah!!! Awesome game! My first shooter game I played online. Loads of weapons and great AI. I like this game!

I have played this game a little bit at my friends house and loved it, so I figured what the hell. I went to the store and bought the platinum pack with all the booklets and the extra mission pack cd and everything. I get home and install it- it installs beautifully. My computer is a new p4 2.2 256 Ram with an okay video card, and that was far exceeding the box recommendations. I got into the game menu and begin the missions and right as I press the button to start the action, my computer completely shuts down. I don't know why it does it- I have well over the recommendations. Buy this game if you really hope that it will work- mine regretfully didn't.

This product is exceptional. I think that if you haven't bought Rogue Spear and Urban Operations sperately, this is what you should buy. First of all, the price is only 30 dollars, when everything is purchased separately, the cost is over sixty. Secondly, this CD pack comes with many customizable missions, which can be changed to suit yor needs. Overall, this is a great buy and should not be passed up

This game rocks!! The possibilities are endless with so much mods to be able to get. Cool new weopons like the steyr aug. Fun online play. Plus I like all the custom missions. This is a complicated game but sniping a terrorist while your teamates sneak in through the back is pretty cool. Once you get bored of the game (which will be a long while...) get some mods and it will be as interesting as it was when you first got. Good FPS.

near perfection tarnished by horrible AI

this game is so nearly perfect. i want to cry when i think about the game designers sitting around saying "hmm well the only problem is that the enemy AI can't get a half-decent head shot off with its target under cover while running." what in the world were they thinking? i mean the enemies do NOT miss. meanwhile your team mates cant hit squat and always fire only after one otehr guy is dead. I found myself going off course to take care of red or yellow team's work because i knew they were just going to mess up and die anyway. long range fighting is torturous, especially without auto-aiming on. the enemies always hit first at long range unless you're really really lucky.
Everything i havn't mentioned yet in this game is absolutely incredible. close-range combat is great. auto-aiming makes it easier but takes away most of the satisfaction of shooting a terrorist, you miss that frantic moment where you have to aim before you get shot, which is the best feeling inthe whole game. the sound of "tango down" is truly a beautiful thing to hear. one hit kills are pretty much guarenteed; when im not sniping i always use fully automatic weapons so i cant really say if the first hit is the one that killed the guy, but it really doesnt matter. of course this doesnt apply to sidearms, but you wont run into bruce-willis in die hard 2 gunfights where you're pinned down and have to spend several minutes fighting. someone always dies at the first confrontation.
The tactical planning is also loads of fun, orchestrating ambushes and the like. one of the best feelings in the game is seeing another team arrive just as planned, on the other side of the room, ready to uselessly stand there while you shoot everyone. the AI nevel lets you forget how bad it is. i wish i could just install a patch that dulled the enemy AI's aim and raised the friendly AI's reaction speed.
of corse the enemy AI is a pleasure to fight as long as you pull the trigger first, these guys are brilliant. i wouldnt say the AI is as good as the hugely underrated AI in Jedi Knight 2, but it will seriously surprise you sometimes.
