Great game to rest your brain...

Being 23 years old, I bought this game with fond memories of the board version I remember playing with friends when we were little. We would fantasize about the kind of car we would drive, the career we would have, the husband/wife we would marry, and how many children we would have. And the computer version is just as good. However, now that I am older and have been married for 7 months, the game just isn't as exciting.

This computer version has funny graphics, cute people, and really great generic music - which spans from 1960-2000. It would be a perfect fun game for a child 10-13 years old. Not very educational, but fun nevertheless.

Two things to say..........

There are only 2 things that I have to say: First of all, whether or not you like the board game you should love this game.
Second of all the only drawback of this game is that playing the enhanced version of the game is fun but playing the classic version on the computer really stinks.

An ok to good game.

This game is a little on the boring side. The graphics are good.A nice twist on the board game. The AI is a bit dumb.

I think this product would be good if you had made it for not only windows 95-98, this needs to be made for EVERYONE!

I've played it when I was young and now I want to replay it!

I've played it when I was young and now I want to replay it! It was a success when I...when I was 12, I mean. And I've played it when I was young and now I want to replay it. Yeah. With the same basics of the same game in board version, the CD-ROM version adds music, sound effects and voices, that were not icliuded in the board version. When I get the CD-ROM, I won't stop playing! It's Marcelo Mauricio's word!

Not great

This is a neat game. We play this game together and the 7yr old usually wins! The graphics are funny and enjoyable.

I was very disappointed in this PC game. It was boring. Everything about the game was chance. You have little control over what happens. Game time is short and it is very likely you did not win anyway. It was a waste of my time. If you really think you need this game - buy it used or at least a new one cheap.

I dont have it for the PC but if it is like the PS1 version it is SO MUCH FUN

Ok. I dont have this game for the PC but when i was a kid i had this game for my PS1. If this is like the version for the PS1 then it is SO MUCH FUN. I used to spend hours upon hours playing this game on my PS1.

I would totally reccomend buying this game.

Also, if you have a PS2 or PS3 i would reccomend to buy the PS1 version of this game. I dont think it is sold new anymore so as far as i know the only place you can buy it is on EBAY.

I used to play Life as a kid and I guess I expected it to be the same but it wasn't. There's nothing to it. You just spin the dial and it moves around the board and either takes money away or gives you money. Really nothing to decide. Just not much fun to me.
