Excellant Buy

Not only do you get ALL the expansions for a great low price but you get free gifts as well. Like a Horse and a Roboboar. The Horse is Slow as well as the Roboboar. But unlike the horse you can UPGRADE the Roboboar so it can go faster. This is a great Game at a great price. Dont miss out on it.

SOE finally did an expansion set for the returning, or low income player. Just cannot beat getting all 13 expansions for under 20 bucks. Highly reccommend this if you are returning, or new to the game.

Great Deal

This includes all 13 expansions which is completely up to date as of Aug 2007. It also includes 30 free days, either on a new account, or an old account that has "expired". I do not believe it will extend an account that is currently being paid for (active). Just put in the single code, and it will trigger all 13 expansions for your account.

The original Everqest is without a doubt the biggest MMORPG in existance. And running as long as it has, with 13 exapansions, it has the most depth, and things to do. The only drawback I'm seeing is the population has thinned in the last couple years, and perhaps a server merge would be nice at this point.

If you've been away from EQ and are thinking to try it again, you can't go wrong with this deal. 30 days free on your old (or new) account and get all the expansions you missed for about $18.

I enjoy EQ

A fun MMORPG. Decent graphics, but fun gameplay. They will introduce a new progression type server. Google it: EverQuest

Thank you Sony for providing all the expansions for just 20 bucks! After 8 years of playing and buying them individually for 30 bucks a pop this is a great deal. Had to buy it so if computer crashed all the cd's were in a nice spool. For those unaware of EverQuest you are better off sitting around burning your cash and punching yourself in the face.

I bought this hoping to revive my love for a game I played years ago. However, it just reminded me why I quit in the first place. SoE was/is a staple in the mmorpg community, but I think their time has come and went.
Pros: Pretty graphics (especially considering the time period of it's original release) and fun classes/races.
Cons: Frustrating questlines, corpse runs, and experience loss upon death.

Too demanding

this game is fun, if you have the time. Even then... it mostly feels like work, out of all the mmo's, this one has the most Grind. This game is fun if your ok staying with mid - mediocre equipment, but to get the usefull equipment its just too demanding.

learning curve

Pretty good game but it has a lengthy learning curve. One can waste a lot of time playing this game.

"Self-pity is the worst poverty. When a person says, I am --with pity, before he has said anything more he has diminished himself to half of what he is; and what is said further diminishes him totally. There is so much in the world that we can pity and that it would be right for us to take pity upon, but if we have no time free from our own self we cannot give our mind to others in the world."

If you've played or are currently playing WoW and are looking to see what else is out there in that genre.... Don't bother. There's nothing else out there that compare. Neither this version nor EQ2 are worth the money. If you still want to try it, download the free trial version. Don't spend anymore money than you have to on it. You'll understand once you see the poor quality of graphics and game play.
