What a FLASHBACK,,,,Love It. A must but for the Price..

5 Rating: 5, Useful: 1 / 1

The only drawback is that the games like asteroids and tempest which used a knob to move around in a circle, are a bit harder to play. Other than that, the graphics are great and plays like the original....A must have for the kid at heart...

JUST LIKE THE ARCADE

4 Rating: 4, Useful: 1 / 1

If you liked the games when they were in the arcades, then you will enjoy this game. The only draw back is the games that used to have a rollar or ball to control (Pong), are tricky until you get the hang of it with a joy stick. Worth having in your collection for the money!

It's Atrari! What Else Do You Need To Know?

Artari. Every gamer knows this legendary company by heart. Because Atari made the first game ever: "Pong." And with Pong came "Centipede," "Asteroids," "Tempest," and many more! Soon Colcovistion and the dreaded Nintendo would come along and boot Artari out of bussness...but their legendary games will live on forever! Now thanks to Infogames the legacy of Atari lives on! Now you can enjoy 12 Atari classics on your Sega Dreamcast for one low price (...)

Now keep in mind these games aren't state-of-the-art, they're graphics are not buffed out, and the gameplay most of the time only requires the D-Pad/Analog and the A-Button! Yes folks, this is classic gaming at it's best! While new gamers who started out playing games like "Metal Gear Solid" will look at these games in disgust adult gamers who grew up with these game will relive their childhood memories one last time!

The only real gripe I have with this collection is that the controller for the Dreamcast is a little sensitive for these games, and therefor will take time getting use to before you will actually sit down and enjoy the game...but that's only a miner flaw! Once you get the controlls down get ready to relive your childhood memories with "Atari: Aniversary Edition!"

Oh my god how old are you Conrad? It is an Atari Package of games not Sega and if you know anything about Atari you would know they make horrible games. Sega already released their Smash Pack, which includes titles from Saturn and Genesis. Don't get too excited people we know Atari's track record. Expect Atari 2600 games or their set of games from the 7800 and beyond. (Nothing innovative in any of their games)

This is Atari lovers paradise. Twelve great games to play until your heart is content. Reminds me of the good old days when I was a teenager at the arcades. Fantastic game!

What can I say. Words cannot describe how well Infogrames have compiled this classic Atari collection. Hasbro did not know what they were doing. What a waste of time they were! Infogrames are already bringing back the glory days for Atari. In England people are very much aware of the quality of old and new games and we're all wearing the T-Shirts too! Even some of our Soccer Teams have the Atari Logo on their Shirts! This Games package is outstanding, it will make your day.

Atari Anniversary Edition

This game is very boring. Maybe it's too old. Objects are so tiny that it's very hard to play. Very disappointed after trying all the games. waste money. If you want to get old games, get the Smash pack. It's much much more fun & all games are great.

So So Fun for Classic Enthusiasts

What do you get when you take great Atari arcade games from the late 70s and early 80s and bring them into the year 2000? You shall know when you play Atari Anniversary Edition. The only games that are really playable are Crystal Castles, Missle Command and Battle Zone. Other than that, everything else plays so horribly with the standard DC control pad that you'll wonder why these games had such an impact on a young game industry. The archive is really cool, but like every other classic collection, it feels pretty sparse. In the end, AAE is a neat little collection of games for people who wondered what it was like before Mario and the likes; just don't expect to spend a lot of time with it.

What can I say?
