my son wanted this for Christmas. We got it and he only played with it a few times and said it was to hard to play. This game is not for younger kids. My husband played it and he said it was a hard game. It might be good for the teensagers.

It was not as good of a game that it sounded like. It does not take very long to beat the game, but you still have the minigames to play after.

Addicting!

More fun that I thought it would be. Let me start by saying I'm an adult and I've had a lot of fun with this game so far. I spent nearly my entire Sunday playing it for hours. The biggest downfall is that sometimes when you're tracing the roller coaster portions, the DS does not recognize them, specifically the loops. The other issue is that I wish you could just click somewhere to find a certain thing and not have to search the map; i.e. a certain person (mechanic), game or ride. Other then that, its very addictive and fun to see it all come together. I keep visualizing the missions and amusement park plots in my head long after playing.

I normally don't write reviews, but for this game I have to. It is GREAT!!!!! Possibly one of the best DS games ever!!!!! You build up a theme park and have missions to complete at the same time. There are tons of mini games, people to talk to, and awesome theme parks to build. Buy this game and you will definately not be disappointed.

thrilling and awesome too!

LOVE IT!!! totally buy it. I am a fan of all the RCT games and this game from Lucas arts is so cool. You can play all the arcade games in the park. The graphics and sound are great, too. MYSIMS is awful! But this instead- hours of fun.

Thrillville: Off the Rails was SUCH a big hit with my godson. The game was opened and we didn't see much of him after that... it was a great gift!

Both my 10-year-old and 8-year-old boy and girl LOVE this game and say it's very similar to the PS2 game. Worth the money!

My seven year old son has enjoyed this the most out of the set of games we purchased with our nintendo ds lite two weeks ago. The price of this game was US $24. He has played for several hours in total with increasing interest, without becoming obsessive (he plays around 30 minutes each time). I've also tried it for an hour.

Its family friendly, tbat is, non-violent. It provides a sense of progress and achievement in building the fun park and accumulating the score. Its not frustrating or annoying at any point. There is no manual dexterity required beyond drawing shapes, and no repetitive or speed dependent actions required. There is no time pressure or negative warnings that appear in this game.

Its important to remember to save your progress, since at no stage is there any automated save function. You would lose entirely everything if you didn't save. Of course it was me who did this, not the seven year old!

Our three year old son also enjoys this, and has fun playing the mini-games, particularly the ice-hockey and basketball. Its nice for him to play, but we don't encourage him to do so.
