I miss these old Playstation 1 games, and I agree with everyone else, they are a lot better than the newer one "A New Beginning." <-- All I can say is yuck to that one!

BUY THE PLAYSTATION 1 VERSIONS, AND YOU WILL BE GLAD YOU DID! :)

The original Spyro PS1 games are a great combination of exploration, whimsical graphics and treasure collecting fun! These are games that can be enjoyed by all ages - adults and kids alike. I recommend this if you're looking for something relaxing and fun without all of the graphic violence (but still plenty of burning action - I never get tired of flaming those sheep...its just so amusing when they poof into butterflies) or questionable content of most games today. The beginning levels may seem a little simple however they do get more challenging as you go - but not too hard so kids can still enjoy playing. Comparatively, the new Spyro games aren't near as good.

These are the only spyro games worth buying!!!! the others are all TERRIBLE!!! (hero's tail isnt that bad...) These three games bring HOURS of fun! i cannot count the many times i have played these. i recommend spyro to anyone looking to have a good time. :D

I'm 12 and this is what got me started in gaming. I got Spyro the Dragon in 1999 or 2000. Then Christmas of 2000 I got Spyro Ripto's Rage, and got the third one for Playstation a bit later. But anyway, if it wasn't for that first Spyro game, I wouldn't be as much as I am into gaming. It's a great game for a 6 year old to start with, because it's easy to understand and has easy controls. Now I collect all of the games out now for Nintendo DS and Playstation 2, though, they will NEVER be as good as the first three.

well, i really love to play all 3 of the first spyro games. they are so fun, and still challenging. easy to play, all the controls are easy to learn. the games, all 3 of them, are all around very good games. i would recommend them to anyone!

I am very late in purchasing and playing the Spyro games. It's really good though. The graphics are actually good compared to other playstation 1 games like Tombraider. It's really colorful and its fun to play and you get to experience the beginning instead of playing the 4th or 5th game without knowing the history. Just make sure that when you do buy any playstation 1 games that you get a good playstation 1 memory card. Without it, you cannot save. Other than that, they're great. JUST HAVE FUN!!!!

I don't own the Spyro games yet,(I ordered them off of amazon.com for Christmas)but I have played them at my cousin's house. They are sooo much fun! Get this: Even my grandmother was interested in them, she loves to watch us play Spyro on our PS1. This is an awsome buy because when the games are sold individually, they can cost up to [amount]. But in this package, you can get 3 games for the price of 2. I saw this in a store, and it cost [amount]. So you are saving between [amount[ to [amount] for some great games! I give this 5 stars and recomend it to everyone.

These spyro games used to be sold one by one. But now you can get all three in one pack with this bundle. Let me take you through the three games that are in this pack...

Spyro the Dragon
This game you have to defeat Gnasty Gnorc, an evil villain who froze all the dragons (whom you must realse by walking up to them)4 out of 5 stars

Spyro the Dragon:Ripto's Rage
Another great game. Now in this game you must try to defeat Ripto is a little guy that wants to rule the Alavar(Place setting)... Uh. Oh! you and spyro must deafeat him. Ripto also hates dragons. You also meet new frineds like Hunter, who is a cheetea.

Spyro the Dragon: Year of the Dragon
the best game in this series. What you have to do is resuce many eggs from a sorcrer that stole them so that the dragons cant bring forth the new generation. Spyro must get them back. You also get some new frineds like a kangaroo, a yeti, a space monkey, a bird. You get to play in their own realms to.

Anywho, this bundle is a must buy

I have beena Spyro fan for quite some time and my games get worn out rather regularly. I love this collection because it's a chance to get all the "oldies but goodies" all at once! It also makes a great gift for friends who are also addicted to the cute little purple guy.
