Kind of fun, monotonous

Beyblades for PS1 is O.K., graphics nothing special. To do the 2-player mode was so confusing I gave up trying to do it.
Here's what the back of the case promises,"Feel the excitement as D.J. Jazzman(Beyblade announcer) emcees it." What a bunch of fibs. D.J. is sooooo annoying and repetitive it's best to turn the volume low.
For Beyblade fans, you may enjoy this game, but I sure didn't.

The title says it all. But if you want a further explaination I'll guess I'll state it here:

1. There is only one friggin tournament...
2. There are minimal customization options...
3. The music will make your ears bleed over time...
4. The battles are dull and lacking...
5. I actually enjoyed doing homework more than this...

Must I say more?

This game is very fun for about 6 hours after that there is no challenge,if u just stay in the center the game will fly out. But if you have the Lcd screen it wold be good for car trips with a friend

this game rocks if you get a draciel bladebase,eight balance,a griffolyon attack ring and a draciel bitchip and drnzer dx launcher you will have
an attack of 180
an defense of 265
an endurance of 235
with this combo you will when every match

p.s. this combo will cost just about 650

... When I first got it I thought it would be great but then while I am reading through the instruction manual the first thing it says is, "This game might cause epileptic seivures." The game is tons of fun for about 3 hours but you know it gets really boring after time. It was ok but take it from me before you buy it rent it.

I got this game for Christmas along with my PSone. The game is a lot of fun. You get to challenge the beyblade characters from the series. READ THE MANUAL BEFORE YOU BEGIN. The manual that comes with it has all the clues to beating the game. The graphics are not that good, however. But you will have fun with it.

I don't understand the good reviews for this game. I beat it the first time I played it without any upgrades to my character or beyblade. I just stayed in the middle of the arena and the CPU tops would almost always fly out of the arena no matter how strong they were. Maybe the 2 player version could be somewhat fun but I doubt it. It's not even worth the [money] I paid for it, sorry.

This was the third game I got after getting my PS2. The graphics are not bad considering it is a Playstation game. If you like beyblade you will enjoy this game. You pretty much just keep battling to get more parts to make stronger blades. The blades are well done and the play isn't bad. Once you get the hang of it you will be ripping it up. If you don't like Beyblade you may not find it quite as good, but I will say it is a must for all Beyblade fans. Keep the faith, dExtrosien
